Levi understood, my point was on the Mac the 3-finger hard press does the same thing - in this case it will open Bible Word Study for the word right clicked on in a new panel.

Mitch does it still work in other apps? I have seen reports of this not working properly in Big Sur now, like here . I do what one user suggests, it works great in Verbum/Logos with the trackpad: 1) Click the Apple Icon (top right) > System Preferences > Trackpad > Point & Click 2) Change "Look up & Data Indicators" to "Tap with three

This is a very good book in Logos if you are interested in reading about Benedictine like: https://www.logos.com/product/179883/the-rule-of-the-master Monastic life is one of intense prayer, work, and fasting. Baptized Christians are called to a life of continuous conversion. They also pray together and individually for specific people, the world, issues

Why when I do the search {Section <LongacreGenre = Narr: Story>} in All Bible Text in All Passages in ESV, do I get everything in my open ESV bible highlighted yellow? I discovered this from a right click context search from the Bible, but then I found just bringing up a new search window with ESV open causes it: It happens in light mode too:

Wow there's a lot I don't understand about this part. That was it, in a way - when I see the Intertext facet, I expand and the second search by Label is able to be performed there. But sometimes the Intertext facet does not show up - I keep right clicking, and eventually it shows up - what causes it to show up or not? And - when I run the label search

Thanks Andrew, I am not seeing the same thing though. When I right click on either 'When' or 'Abram" in Gen17.1, I see only this: When I click on Narrative (see the orange vertical line), I don't see what you see in the left or right pane. Am I missing a step or a setting?
-
Thanks Andrew, I suspected that. I found the Narrative on the right, but the search looks different. I am guessing the search syntax has been simplified since then? The video has this: and mine is this: {Section <LongacreGenre = Narr: Story>} Also, there does not seem to be a "Search this Resource" any more? That's what they did, I did a Search

I am trying to run the example of doing a Longacre dataset search on literary type, from an email I got, a Logos Tech Tip today. If you check this video , at 2:44, it does a search - but at least in Verbum, the menus look nothing like this video's menus, and what I do seem able to develop as a search is much different than this example. When I right

The Life of Jesus Christ and Biblical Revelations by Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. It's a 4 volume set. Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich was blessed with vivid visions which spanned the whole of Jesus' lifetime on earth. Perhaps most notably, she received detailed visions of the passion, crucifixion and death of our Lord. Of Jesus' agony in the garden

Thanks JT! I had to swipe up or down to get it to work, other directions not - makes sense of course, like the mouse wheel. Learn something new every day!!!

I think this is the same/related bug I reported on December 13: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/197257/1142739.aspx#1142739 Maybe now it will get some attention.
-
This maybe just a Mac issue, but how do I change the drawing color? The little text says "rotate the mouse wheel", many Mac users have a trackpad but no mouse - how are colors changed then?
-
Doesn't anyone notice this? It's still broken. I'll turn it off.
I open up Verbum this morning and the Card "Pictorial Lives of the Saints" by Shea is gone. I had the Devotional one up, that shows the book cover, NOT the "Saints" card which shows text. I go into Devotionals section of adding a card, and it's not there. I open the Verbum web app, and it is there. I remove it, close the

Thanks Sean. I tried the Concordance - I can't even read the left hand side. I tried different scaling from the slider on the right side, that didn't help. Maybe this is a Dark Mode problem or something else? So using your image, you had 1,132 legomena (actually mine above shows 1,235, you can read that). But from the Bible Books Explorer, it's much

When will it be possible to pre-order the bundle if we like the price?
yes. When they post it
Yes answers nothing, "when they post it" is snarky. Thanks for the reply.
