I'm on macbook pro with Catalina, using Logos 9.2.0.0014 Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a split screen layout with the audio reading of the hebrew old and new testament on the right. Open the Table of Contents in the right audio pane so you can see the chapters and books. 2. Go to a book, say 1 Chron 3. Click play 4. The time counter will slide off the

Curious, how much disk space this collection requires?
-
Thank you, it's working! I have it!
-
I downloaded it and restarted, but I don't see the "today in Christian history" card -- is there something else I need to see to enable this?

Yes, I have the same issue. When I open a tab, sometimes the font is *huge* and I have to jiggle the text scale bar back and forth before it resets to the correct size and I can interact with it corretly (if I don't jiggle, then my mouse location will be incorrect). Same thing happens in table of contents, and there I have to open and close the ToC

Thank you, Graham, that's a good suggestion! I had some luck with the media search, and I need to learn how to use it better.

Jerusalem is not in any layer. I zoomed out max, slowly, and Jerusalem was never there.

I was reading about arguments that Jesus was crucified in the garden tomb area, and wanted to look at this in logos software. I wanted to compare the locaiton of the garden tomb with respect to Jerusalem and the temple. It turns out that the atlas doesn't contain Herod's Temple at all, and both the temple and entire city of Jerusalem are completely

> A search of the biblical text suggests that in the recorded words of Jesus there are many more references to heaven than to hell. It's tough to say. For example, when Jesus says “Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted." this is not going to show up in the "Hell" sense search, neither will the separation of wheat

Setting something to scale at 100% isn't exactly considered scaling, now, is it? :) The issue is with Logos wonky scaling, but then I think we all know that. Anyways, I induced another crash and attached logs 3125.LogosLogs.rsussland.20210101-112314.zip

One thing that this might be related to -- I know it sounds crazy -- but the entire Logos package is extremely buggy when it comes to any sort of screen scaling. Things jump around and resize. I need to often manually adjust fonts that look gargantuan, and if I just touch the font magnification bar they snap back to normal. Now, I know no sane developer

OS X Catalina 10.15.7 Logos 9.1 It looks like an assertion is failing in the app controller code. I have been trying to listen to hebrew words, so my workflow is to look for a lemma, find it's occurrences, then look in the LHB, say Proverbs 20.27, then look in the Hebrew audio (which, infuriatingly, only contains chapter and not verse milestones). Once

That's a great resource, thanks!

Thank you, MJ, this helped a lot. By digging around, I also realized that that the order of the resources in the priority list determines if they appear as one click items in the context menu when a passage is selected. For some reason I thought those priority resources only determined the order that things were displayed, not whether they appeared

Often I find myself reading a difficult passage, say, Job 9:13. It would be great if I could right click/double click/whatever and immediate bring up my favorite commentary on that passage. Right now, I have to either right click, then bring up the passage guide, which is way more information than I need and is a bit slow, then from the passage guide

I've been looking more at this, and I suspect the issue is some kind of authentication or token expiration. I restarted logos and was able to use both the media and the atlas. It would be nice if this could be confirmed (e.g. auth failure) somewhere in the logs, but I have no idea if this is logged or where logos keeps logs)

Over the last few dozen times, I tried to load atlas, it always says "We couldn’t connect to the internet. Please check your connection and reopen Atlas. " I have logos 9 for Catalina. The desktop atlas is not working. Neither is the media tool. Then I thought of trying the web version, and it works flawlessly. So here, it can't be a server overload

Logos has several selections from the Zohar already, from places like Skylight Paths, as well as rabbinical tales, and lots of self-help/mysticism/judaica titles. So I didn't think that there was an issue with the nature of the content, but I thought it was strange that there was no academic translation of the complete Zohar which also had critical

Pritzker Zohar. https://www.sup.org/zohar/ Logos only has some very small Zohar excerpts

Thanks, that's good to hear!
