We are attempting to use the "Follow the Sermon" video located under suggested items for the sign feed, but it won't ever play.
-
When trying to push videos through the Digital Signage, we are having an issue where the feed pauses where the video should be, then skips and goes to the next slide. Currently using a new AppleTV 4K with plenty of storage, and a strong LTE connection for data signal.

And I seem to remember that in Logos 7 there was the option to have a preferred collection filter which would be used every time you opened up the library. For example I made one 'Full Library: No Ancient Texts' to filter out the 1,200 Perseus Digital Library books. This no longer works.
We are actively working on GDPR issues, and have engaged external advisers with even more expertise. We'll have updates soon.
That is good to hear, however you need to get the external advisers to move faster as the GDPR is now law and FL is definitely not in compliance - and has to be, American company or not.
-
I don't see, haven't seen, any information about the European General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR') which comes into law tomorrow, Friday, on the Logos website or emails nor any (now required) email confirming explict opt-in coming from Logos. It does not matter that Logos is an American company, they are selling services to EEA residents therefore
If you don't own THIS (Free), then "purchase" it. In the resource menu (ESV Book Cover), under "narrator," choose the one you want.
Gosh, that hurt the back pocket thanks.
Crossway graciously provided free, but limited, licenses to us for the ESV audiobook... limited in that 1) we don’t own it and 2) it is online only. There is no legal means within Logos. Your best bet is to purchase the audiobook elsewhere.
Hmmm - I don't get a nice recorded voice just get the Mac robot voice

If you are on a Mac you could restore from a Time Machine backup - go to a point in time before the big mistake and selectively restore the Logos data folder. If you are not on a Mac (i.e. Windows) and IF you had previously turned on the 'Shadow Copy' feature built into Windows http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/windows-and-office/how-do-i-configure-and

Hello all I am fairly sure what the answer to this question will be, but am interested to hear from Logos staff and/or knowledgable persons regarding this question. The title Jesus and the Eyewitnesses is out in print in an expanded 2nd edition. The first edition is available on Logos and the second edition is under development. I don't have either
Hi Patrick Where in Europe are you trying to run the app?
Hi Graham - I was adding to my first reply as you were writing this. Pls see further info in my recent post.
Would love to hear from more people around the world what their experience is like (which parts of the app are fast/slow, how long they take, and where the pain points are). Gives new meaning to the term "watching paint dry". Utterly unusable. Performance might be OK for you in the US. I'm in Europe on a 120 Mbps Internet connection and what I see is a lot of these: ping time is about 200 ms. For major sites like Apple, Microsoft, Cisco using CDNs I get between 12 -14 ms. So, basically, useless (for me, anyone outside the

This seems more like slander than experience. We are assuming you are using Windows? Therefore computer will be Windows 10. In order of importance/benfit: SSD drive — for OS and the full Logos installation. This, really, is an absolute must. But be careful you don't want to be 'unequally yoked' — make sure the controller on the computer is at least the mainstream standard of SATA 3

I'm not sure why anyone would want to run Logos on Windows Server (of any release). Windows Server is a server software, not client software. And there is absolutely no need to run Windows Server to have an RDP session. You can have an RDP session to any Windows machine, from almost any OS, anywhere. For example from my home MacOS iMac I run a great

Hi - I bought Mobile Ed: NT 331during the recent sale. Looking at the product page... https://www.logos.com/product/37781/mobile-ed-nt331-book-study-pauls-letter-to-the-romans I see that the bundle should have the following resources NT331 Book Study: Paul’s Letter to the Romans NT331 Book Study: Paul’s Letter to the Romans (Audio) NT331
I hope you're not implying [...] any pastors irresponsible enough to make such notes on their computers [...]
Yes . . . . . . . If life teaches us anything, and especially as Christians, it is that there is no accounting for what people will do, or are capable of.
I'm not an expert on this but MJ is correct that there are constraints here in the UK
Hi Graham — of course I am sure you, and most Logos users, are sensitive and circumspect regarding any sensitive personal information which may come your way. There is no intention of saying otherwise — the point is

Well I see pitchforks and torches are still very much in evidence in the Logos forums. In the general 'hysteria' one of the key points originally posited has been overlooked... that of choice . There is always going to be the case where "you say potato i say potato", but the problem often is that Logos says, in effect, that "it's my way, or the highway
