At the top right of the Logos window you should see some midi controls. See here for a screenshot.

  • Community Wiki

Hi all, Along with many others I've been excited by the release of Logos version 4. However sometimes finding the right info or getting answers to questions has been difficult. There has been a few posts around suggesting that Logos create a Wiki to ensure users to generate and contribute content to help others. I'm guessing that Logos are probably

  • Re: Passage Analysis- is it not in certain packages?
Not sure what you mean by a lower level. I am not sure if I had Passage Analysis in V3, but I did upgrade from 3 to 4 and it is not in the Tools menu as stated by others...
I've been having s imilar problems too, although in my case the Passage Analysis was present in version 4 and an update seemed to remove it

  • Re: Post your L4 collections!

Where did you find the different search strings? I've been looking for these in the help file but can't find them. I thought that the properties of a book might have had them but I can't see them there either.
Yes Paul. L4 downloads everything right to your computer without any effort on your part. It indexes it and integrates it into the existing index. L3 still works the same as before, you need to manually install stuff.
Thanks Joe.

  • Re: Prepub's
For third party product CDs and pre-pubs only available on CD, you will need to install LDLS 3 and activate the SN in that program.
Thanks for the reply Melissa, so are you saying that once activated in Logos 3 the resources from the CD will become available in L4?
How would those of us that ordered a prepub from an online store handle this change (I ordered Tyndale from Rejoice software and I plan on removing Logos 3 from my computer).
From the look of the Logos prepub page for the Tyndale Commentaries they are only available on CDROM - can we assume that these resources will

  • Re: Can I do a second sort in the Library?

In most grids one would either hold down shirt or control whilst clicking on the second sort column, however this doesn't work on the library. Looks like the this isn't available at this point.

Good question Kenneth, the question also applies to a prepub for the 49 volume Tyndale Commentary.
I agree though that the release notes might be better in the public Logos 4 forum though. (I thought the beta group was public now?)
The Beta forum was visible for a few hours when L$ was first released but it is now not visible. The name of the forum can be seen but its contents aren't accessible to non-Beta testers

  • Re: Summarization with Visual Filters

Thanks for the quick response Philip - i can see how to create a new Filter, but what do I type into the find box in the Visual filter document to produce a summary of a resource? If I type summary or summarization it simply highlights those words rather than show a summary of the resource like L3 did.

  • Summarization with Visual Filters

In L3 there is a very useful option to add a visual filter to summarise a resource, however I can't find a way of achieving this in version 4. I've tried the help, forum and training videos but done seems to give a clue about how to achieve it. Can anyone help? thanks, Paul
