• not returning results in NIV84

Hi there, I am running a search with NIV84 for <Thing Ark of the Covenant> in the book of Joshua however it returns no results at all. I am guessing that this happens because the NIV may not be tagged with the right dataset, although I am not sure, Can anyone confirm this please? thanks Paul

Thanks again for the reply. The main issue is that it is inconsistent rather than the lack of support. In this scenario the drag and drop works its just that its behaviour is inconsistent with pasting.

Hi all, I've again been using the Sermon Editor (in the latest Beta) for preparing this weeks preach and have a few thoughts which I thought I might share: The spellchecker makes a big difference to the usability of the document The ability to change the PowerPoint text make a huge difference to the usability of the outputted PowerPoint A few points

  • Bug: Highlighting problem in sermon editor

I'm using the latest Beta of L7 and there is a problem with highlighting using the keyboard. To replicate create a line of text followed by a quote, as shown below: Place the cursor at the beginning of the word In, now try to highlight both the text line and quotation by holding down shift and pressing the down arrow. This words fine for lines of text

  • Sermon Editor - oddity in functionality with drag and drop vs Copy and Paste

Hi there I am using the sermon editor with the latest beta and I've noticed a difference between copying and pasting from a resource and dragging and dropping. For example if I drag and drop the text appears as follows: However if I copy and paste the same text it shows as follows: I would imagine that both functions should perform the same because

Well implemented and useful. However it would be helpful to have a list of just questions without the headings (optionally).
You can do this by toggling each heading - see https://community.logos.com/forums/p/130689/849634.aspx#849634 for a bit more detail Thanks that is very helpful

Whilst I am at it the word count doesn't exclude items flagged as Questions - which I guess is probably not the way it was intended...

A couple of other reflections for you 1) When I first used the document I didn't use the Question style - having now used this I think it is brilliant. Well implemented and useful. However it would be helpful to have a list of just questions without the headings (optionally). 2) It doesn't seem possible from a hyperlinked verse to open the passage by

Thanks for the advice. When the problem first manifested itself I uninstalled the whole app and redownloaded everything and the problem still persists. I will try redownloading the book too.

Hi there, I thought I would post about my experience of using the new Sermon Editor to prepare a message for tomorrow morning. I do like the Sermon editor, it performs quickly and with minimum fuss. I like the auto insert of biblical text from a reference, the block quote and ability to simultaneous prepare text, handout, presentation and questions
