Has anyone seen or used the "Samsung ATIV SmartPC" I looked at the description, and it didn't say it ran the "RT" version of windows 8, but again I'm not sure the difference between RT, Windows 8, and Windows 8 Pro. Any thoughts? Thanks, Derek

  • Robert's Rules of Order

Hey All, Does anyone know if Logos currently has a resource that contains Robert's Rules of Order? I tried searching for it, and couldn't find it. Additionally, is there an official book that contains it, or will any of the books listed on amazon suffice? Thanks, Derek

  • Re: How to find descriptions of God's love?

If you haven't already, I would use any topical bibles you may have. A quick look at mine showed several selections of scripture (especially the New Naves): ...Also, a quick perusal of any systematic theologies you have usually have Love of God listed as a communicable attribute or a bullet point within a section on the goodness of God. Good Luck, Derek

I really enjoyed Difficult Doctrine of the Love of God by D.A. Carson. He describes five forms/levels: (1) The peculiar love of the Father for the Son, and of the Son for the Father. ‎(2) God’s providential love over all that he has made. ‎(3) God’s salvific stance toward his fallen world. ‎(4) God’s particular, effective, selecting love toward his
A MacBook Air meets all your expectations except for price.
I'd rather have a laptop, but there's something more socially acceptable about using a tablet in church or bible-study.
Not saying don't buy it, but don't just rush in — particularly as it is not priced as an 'impulse buy'!
I'm certainly not an early adopter, and I'm hoping by the time I get the money saved up, there will be an option for 2x the battery life.
Maybe you will reply and tell us all how it occurred so we do not face that problem one day. \
Hey Joshua, I typically carry my tablet on the plane with me in my laptop bag, but on this trip I was trying to reduce the weight of my laptop bag and stored it in the front pocket of my roller-board carryon...and forgot

  • L5 Full Function Tablet

Hey All, Since American Airlines decided to demolish my Asus Transformer during my last business trip, I'm now on the market for a new tablet (for purchase in the next couple of months). My unrealistic expectations: - Full L5 functionality (Everything I can do on my Windows 7 Laptop) - Battery life >/= 8 hours - Size and Weight of a tablet (not a desktop

Hi All, As the biblical counseling journal just hit my library I'm overwhelmed with all the volumes, and would like to peruse article titles all in one place. Does anyone know if there's a way to easily extract a list of linked articles from a series of journals? Thanks, Derek

  • Hebrew to Greek Septuagint Interlinear?

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum, but I'm either looking for a resource or special functionality... I'd like to learn to use the septuagint more to see how it translates words from the Hebrew OT, but I'm not sure how to do that in Logos, other than opening up a couple of the interlinears. Does anyone know if there's a resource or a search

  • Is the Logos business model really anti-customer?

Hi All, I've seen quite a few folks post that they are less than thrilled with the recent change, some threatening to sell it all and leave, others threatening to move to other software, and many displaying feelings of disgust over loss of their former status. As a Logos customer, that works as a business consultant rather than as a pastor/seminary

  • Same Functionality & Learning Curve?

Hi All, I'm looking forward to a future upgrade to Logos 5, probably in the next month or so, but first wanted to get a few questions/concerns out of the way. 1. Does Logos 5 have all the functionality that Logos 4 has, plus more? IE: I remember when switching to Logos 4, there was still a waiting period to get some of the functionality that I believe
