  • [closed] Collection Tool Anomaly

Faithlife, Thanks for the L6 SR1 update today. Has anyone reported having the previous Library issue in the Collection tool? Please see my first screenshot done on a Mac. OS X 10.10 and L6 SR-1 The display anomaly goes away when I toggle the view type from detail to one of the other two. Thank you, David

Logos, er rather, Faithlife, thanks for the cool tools in Logos 6. I really like the homepage re-design and the ability to sync personal books. I also noticed measurable index speed increase after I had downloaded 1.4 GB of the L6 XTDCrossgrade. I think L6 definitely runs faster on my Windows 7 PC that uses 2009 technology. On my Mac, the performance

I was able to upload several PPB made more than a year ago, but one I could not because the upload button was greyed out for this one docx PBB. Is ther a size limitation? I think my PBB file was about 40 MB. Cool feature, though. I have not synched my Mac to the uploaded PBB yet. David

Thanks for the information, Graham. So many good upgrade / update paths to select. The Extended Crossgrade will probably be my choice. David

Do you get all the L6 datasets and features with the Extended Crossgrade?

Unix, What is your current budget for a laptop (desktop)? How much are you able to spend this month without going into debt? I think there are more appropriate websites out there to ask questions regarding CPU L2/L3 cache, Intel vs AMD CPU, chipsets, memory, battery charge efficiency, hard drive configurations (RAID-1, RAID-0, RAID-10) and so on. • Occasional Blurred Panels

This week I have been noticed an intermittent blurring of Logos 5 panels. It seems to be occurring only on secondary or floating panels. The blurriness does not happen all the time, and I only started to notice this a few days ago. I has happened 2 or 3 times this week, including today. I have screenshots of the blurry panels and of what the panels

Thanks DAL, and THANK YOU Logos Bible Software! I hope I can convince a family member who is Catholic to consider this offer and perhaps spread the word to others. David Edit: I also wanted to say to Logos that the new Verbum website is well designed, appealing, exciting, and informative. Great web content!

  • Re: Please tell us what resources are being removed..

When datasets are updated, I don't ever recall indexing these. Logos does not index datasets, I don't think. Also, indexing is not needed when a newer version of Logos is installed. Database updates don't show up in the Library, but should show on the program's Home page, assuming the "Updated Resources" is checked for your Home layout.

Agree! I also like the enhancements added to the tag feature, even though the copy / paste for a tag is now not so obvious and includes an extra step. I really like the changes made to the Library. I still hope one day the Collections tool and Library will be one and the same.
