My A20 is hosed up! I tried to delete and start again by removing the application from the applications folder and redownloading but I cannot even delete it. The trash bin will not empty. Are we going backwards here?

It's DOA for me as well. I am trying to totally clean it off my Mac and start over but cannot! Any help would be appreciated. I just want to take L4 completely off. Hopefully when I sync I will get my books and highlights back.

My stuff is so messed up now I may have to reinstall the operating system! I have tried to reinstall and I have icons that will not delete (error code 8003) It is nearly hopeless to resurrect! The program will not even start anymore. I deleted the program and the L4 folder from the applications support folder (trying to get the program to delete) and

I for one would like to thank the development team of Logos 4 Mac for their dedication to the task! I have been less than happy about the process of the Mac product and although I spoke out about it once, I have since restrained myself and simply installed alpha after alpha waiting patiently for a usable product. The beta's and the availability of a

Both of those are checked on my MacBook and have been all along yet I have not auto updated since I can't remember when. I have had to manually update every time. Bob
I am looking to soon delete VMware fusion and Logos 4 for windows and be completely Mac with Logos 4.
All I can say is "Amen"! We are very, very close and I am very, very grateful. I was certainly surprised by the release this week thinking since we got two alphas last week we would see nothing this week. And then

I am one of those who enjoy highlighting the text and making various other visual markups such as underlining, boxes, etc. When inserting a note on any given text an icon appears but the text is also highlighted in yellow. Although this is certainly not a major issue by a long shot it would be nice to have the capability to leave the icon but at least

I have hesitated in making this post out of respect for Logos and its developers who have certainly worked tirelessly on this product. I am certainly grateful for their hard work. I have both Logos 4 and Accordance 9. I have had Logos since they came out with Logos 3 and I have only acquired Accordance within the last year. May I say very respectfully

You won't have to repurchase your library but I am not sure about the basic engine that makes it all work. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable in the forum would know that.

Enjoy that Mac. Going Mac was one of the best things I have ever done!

Starting to really look like something! Can't wait!

"also I can upgrade it later if a I need to, cant do that with my macbook". I have a MacBook and my wife has a MacBook Pro and I have upgraded both of them. I added additional ram memory and increased the hard drive from a 120 g to a 500 g. I buy my Mac upgrade stuff from Other World Computing (owc.com?).

Mine hasn't done an auto update in many alpha's. I always do a manual. It won't even update using the "update now" command. I also could use some help finding the link for A24.
-
Just for the record Tom, both of those are checked and have always been checked yet I have not "auto-updated" in a very long time. I do not have indexing problems as some other have had, in fact, the program appears to actually work rather well for me yet it will not auto-update. Neither will is update by the command "update now". Not sure why it does

In windows when you add a note you do not have to scroll down to the location but in Mac you must. While it is nice to finally have notes it is aggravating to have to constantly scroll down to the point to add your note. If you are working primarily in the New Testament as I do then you are doing lot of scrolling. Maybe I need to do more work in Genesis

Jack, I wholeheartedly agree with you on the note thing. I have posted a number of times and actually hesitated this time. Note parity has been promised for such a long time and there has been absolutely no movement that I have been able to discern towards parity. I am, and have been very disappointed and do all of my note taking in another product

I must be doing something wrong. I cannot seem to get it to work correctly. It's not that I cannot make notes, that seems to work fine it's just that the notes are not accessible in all the version I have opened.
-
Thank you Kevin. The difference is whether "selection" is highlighted or "reference" if I understand correctly. If you highlight "selection" the note is "attached" to the verse of the particular text you are in when you made the note. If you highlight "reference" the note is attached to this verse and will be available in all Bible versions you own

OK. Well thanks again I think we are on the road to full functionality. Bob

Good thinking Jack. I'm glad I am able to use L4 with some level of productivity finally. I have decided for the time being to use L4 utilizing the Win version and Parallels (I have been using Vmware but Parallels seems quicker) until such a time that the notes feature in the Mac side is more mature. Thanks Jack for your support as well. Bob
