• Re: BUG: Logos doesn't count columns in some resources

Here it is Alabama: (it's my standard layout for reading when other books than the Bible are in focus. It should display two parallel windows.)

  • BUG: Logos doesn't count columns in some resources

I wanted to show the book Crazy Love in two parallell columns, but it only displayed one. I had already opened Crazy love in my book reading layout When I clicked on three-, four, or five columns it displayed only two. I tried to restart the program to see i the problem was fixed, but it wasn't. I also tried other resources, both eBooks and Logos editions

  • Suggestion: Android hardware buttons let you move to the next page.

I originally posted this in the suggestions forums Jun 2011. I didn't get a lot of response, but I still think it's a great idea . What do you think of assigning the volume buttons Page Up/Down functions in the Logos App? I tried this in another reading app and it worked great! This could of course be something one has to enable in settings first so

  • Bug: Going back to library when trying to go to the next page.

Yesterday I was trying to read Crazy Love. When tried to navigate to the next page i jumped back to the library. It was possible to access the previous page (not really that useful when tying to read ) I tried random on-line resources and they behaved exactly the same way. I then tried one of my downloaded resources and it worked fine (I was still on

  • Re: Say What? Libronix no longer supported????

I may have misunderstood, but there is a "Downloadable Libronix Files" section below the Order History on my account page. These are links to the individual files, not an automatic update. As far as I understood this was what Bob made his team work on bringing back. There are still no L3 links on the order summary page. (The page where the individual
The team is looking into whether or not they can make this happen easily enough...
I don't know how easy it was, but they've been brought back:) I don't really care for continued support of L3, L4 made a lot of the things i missed in L3 possible. I still didn't like the way Logos handled this issue... (I know you

  • Re: More Bookmarks

From my point of view it would only be useful to add one more bookmark. This is because it could have ctrl+0 as shortcut. For my other bookmarking needs the favorites tool (as discussed in the thread Graham linked to) is more than good enough.

  • Re: Open L4 to a specific layout

I have a "startup" layout which I have saved as bookmark number nine. (tols->favorites, then drag the layout you want over bookmark number x (e.g. 9) and drop it.) Whenever I'm about to quit logos and know that next time i start logos I want to open my startup layout I press ctrl+9 and wait for the layouts to change before quiting. I too would love

  • SUGGESTION: Usage of Hardware Buttons in Android App

Would it be possible to assign the volume buttons Page Up/Down functions in the Logos App? I tried this in another reading app and it worked great! This could off course be something one has to enable in settings so that no one will be confused. Another possibility would be to use the camera button for the Page Down function.

  • Re: SUGGESTION: Improved Collections at Logos.com
The principle stated in the blog post I linked above is quite generous, I think: "A Scholars Library: Silver owner can buy a copy of Classic Commentaries on the Greek New Testament (14 vols.) and not have to purchase it again to upgrade to Platinum . We'll credit the difference toward your purchase on your new base package

  • Re: SUGGESTION: Improved Collections at Logos.com
That, then, will be why you weren't offered much of a discount (though I still think you should have had better than $10). When you bought Platinum, you weren't paying the retail price for BDAG. So why should you be offered a 24% discount on retail when you probably already got a 75% discount on the retail price of the individual

  • Re: SUGGESTION: Improved Collections at Logos.com

I got it as part of the Platinum package which at least from my point of view is the best deal logos offers. I guess I may have gotten a better rebate if I had bought it individually in the first place. The point here is not that I deserve a rebate because I've invested already (something I would have done if I had bought BDAG for the full price), but

  • SUGGESTION: Improved Collections at Logos.com

I was reminded of this issue in the recent post about lack of links in the Comparison Chart. I recently considered byuing the Original Languages Supplement. Needless to say I want to know how much I could be paying for what I'm about to pay 515 USD for. The information about savings under the price is not helpful at all as it is showing the inflated

  • Bug in Notes

I used the Notes function in L4 and found that it was just as lacking in functionality as I expected. There also was one significant bug. When I took notes I used the 'Numbered List' function. I tried to paste text from BECNT's commentary on Luke; the numbers disappeared and all the text was moved to the left. I then wrote in this quote word by word

I want to by a smartphone, but an iPhone is not an option. I simply don't want to lock myself to Apple. A logos android app would definitely be good.

  • Re: Transferring Note Files Between Computers

For transfering files between computers I use Windows Live Mesh . I've been using it for around three months and it looks great so far. It synchs selected folders automatically and you get 5GB online storage. When I checked out Dropbox earlier this year you got 2GB online storage and you could only synch the Dropbox folder. Once installed it's very
