Thank you Dave: I have prioritized the LTW, but it does not show up at all in Bible Word Studies, even when I know the word is in LTW. Chuck

Greetings all: I am learning to use Lexham Theological Wordbook (LTW). I have prioritized it. Now, I have 2 questions: 1. Is there a way to add the LTW to the passage guide I created so when I run my passage guide, if a theologically significant word is present within the passage, I will get a "hit" directing me to LTW? Or, is it limited only to the

Greetings all: While watching a Logos training video on Corresponding Words, I am asked to check the box "update on click". That choice does not exist on my menu. What am I missing? Chuck

Thank you Kyle. Is there any way to make the book appear at all? Chuck

Greetings all: I have tagged almost all of the commentaries in my library using "my tag" and have 7 different tags. I have created My Passage Guide to include commentary collections to include the 7 different tags. One of those mytags is Expository. I tagged Daily Study Bible Series Proverbs with the mytag: Expository When I run My Passage Guide using

Hi all: I am usinf Logos 7 and searching Acts-Titus in the ESV for "oversee". I checked "match all forms". I expected this search query to find all 5 occurrences of "overseer" but it did not. What did I do wrong? Chuck

Sorry about the double post. I got an error message between the first and second post saying the post was not sent.

After I downloaded the filer, there is no copy of Louw-Nida in my Documents and there is no visual filter in the ESV. Since there are so many Louw-Nida filters, does it matter which one I download? Chuck
-
Once I click on "get a copy," my computer remains online. However, there is no Louw-Nida appear in my Documents. When I go to the ESV and click on visual filters, there is no Louw-Nida. Since there are so many different Louw-Nida filters in the document section of Logos Visual Filters group, does it matter which filter I select? Chuck
-
Again, I am confused, a frequent condition for me <grin>! I went to the group and registered. I found the Louw-Nida visual filter and clicked on the action button and then "get a copy." So, how do I install the copy? Thus far, I cannot find the Louw-Nida filter in my Logos 7 visual filer list. Chuck

Thank you, Graham!

Greetings all: At the risk of sounding uninformed (even though I am uninformed ), what functionality do Vyros resources have in Logos 6? For example, beyond reading them using the Vyros app, can they be imported into Logos 6 and then be searched, added to a collection etc.? Or, even more basic, can they be read in Logos 6? Chuck

Here is the rule I use for Bible Introductions and Background collection, which gave nearly 100 hits and gets most of the surveys in my collection: (((subject:introduc) OR (subject:Bible AND subject:handbook ANDNOT title:"study bible") OR (title:survey ANDNOT subject:theolog) OR (title:introduction ANDNOT type:bible-commentary) OR (title:overview))

David and NB: Thank you for your reply! Chuck

Greetings all: My memory is that in the past, March Madness linked to pages for each author(s) so that listed of the various titles by each author who were included in March Madness. For example, if I clicked on Dr. Craig Evans' name, I would be taken to a list of titles from Dr. Evans that are included in the discount. I cannot seem to find any list

Thank you Graham! That is exactly what I was looking for. Clearly I do not know how to use the search box in forums. I searched for: collections AND Barnes and never did find that page (at least not in the first 30 or so pages it returned). Blessings to you! Chuck
