The perceived image difference is mostly limited by the relatively small screen. I have an old 24 inch Samsung monitor whose resolution is probably considered nothing today but still looks great because of the size. What people see is often a matter of training and experience. I have been doing photography for over 50 years and I work on metal with

If I recall correctly the screen on the Pro in the M1 line is a bit better than the one on the Air. I think it's probably worth it if you use it a lot and hold onto it longer.

I had some of it in my collection and my rep waved a no-can-refuse deal in front of me if I remember correctly. I know there are sales, but I think some publishers also have given FL a little flexibility. Remember two things also, dynamic pricing is your friend because some stuff in that bundle are stuff you might really want and use anyway. And if

My translation choices don't really change much from year to year. My congregation uses the Complete Jewish Bible as the standard for parashah and sermon readings as a Messianic group. I've never completely liked it, so I often supplement it with quotations from the Tree of Life Version . My daily Bible readings and much of my own personal use gets

If you aren't shopped out by January 1st, you have only yourself to blame
I became a Christian in the fall of 2009, at 47 years old, and God used Logos Software as part of that process. He still uses it in my everyday life and growth. I will always be grateful that a company, while earning money, chose to do something that matters. They could have used their skills and funds to go in a lot of directions

I put in a suggestion for his Matthew commentary. Books in Logos are so much more accessible than bound copies.
-
Can we get this in Logos? 0825438454 is the ISBN I have.
-
Yes, that is rather sad. I wanted his work on Matthew and had to order it in paper. Considering his legacy, maybe we need to put a plug for his work in Suggestions.

I've gotten some year end voucher money in the past, but I don't necessarily expect anything beyond birthday money which comes in December for me. Nice to get, but I count myself more than blessed. The deals themselves account for blessings.
This is going to sound silly, but don't overlook the advantage of saving a few grammes in weight. There was a survey some time ago that showed that even a small reduction in the weight of a piece of equipment (Camera, Binoculars, Laptops etc) affect the number of times people took them out of the house. Almost subconsciously
The odd thing to me about this project is that it's explicitly a translation of the Bible with a commentary, but a look at the Resources Included section suggests that it will be produced simply as a commentary, i.e., there will be no Type:Bible resource included. That would be a shame.
It looks to reproduce the original
From a Verbum/Logos App standpoint is there any advantage to getting an IPAD versus and IPAD Air?
When I did it with a 2019 Air model, I got more horsepower, memory, and the display was definitely a bit better. I consider it worth every penny. It was practically a Pro model without the Pro price tax added. I store more

I like this idea very much. I don't mind doing multiple orders to avoid an overlap but having it built into the system is much better.

It's both by virtue of it patterning the Douay. How well it succeeds in either is something I would not feel remotely qualified to speculate on. Here's a little link that might be useful https://hbu.edu/museums/dunham-bible-museum/reprints-from-the-collection/prefaces-to-major-bible-editions/francis-kenrick-catholic-translation-1860/
That is the question for me. Will Logos run significantly better on the MacBook Air that it runs on my HP Spectre? I am skeptical about that. If there is a significant difference, I would make the move to the MacBook Air. But I have not seen much to convince me of that. I suspect that cannot happen until there is a native

I really do want to encourage believers to dig into their Bibles so they can see the Gospel for themselves. Frankly, it mostly comes by reading the Bible over and over again. Now with Logos, you can have that Bible with you everywhere, so I would never discount the usefulness of the program.

I've been doing that since L8. Lots of good bargains. You might even find that going up one or two levels yields more worthwhile deals depending on what you are looking for. Dynamic pricing sometimes gets fuzzy at the lower tiers so watch carefully.
