How do I enable logging...? I've scanned the forums (briefly) but cannot find how to enable logging on Mac.

I just tried 4.5 beta 3 (for which release notes indicate a fix for this problem) but there is no difference - applying a single highlight to a single word with a single ESV panel open (no other linked panels, etc) takes 11.5 seconds and maxes out 1 CPU core at nearly 100% while "applying" the highlight. Removing the single highlight takes ~ 9.5 seconds

I run into this frequently - almost (but not quiet) every time I start Logos. This shows itself in many ways. - When Logos starts (if I'm offline) then the Logos "login" window appears in the bottom-left corner partially off screen - Windows (both floated panes and the "main" Logos window) usually start up very small - I can post a screenshot if it
We have been able to reproduce this behavior using both shortcuts and will report the issue to Development for investigation.
Any chance this can be looked at as part of 4.5 -- keyboard and focus issues (see http://community.logos.com/forums/p/27207/207119.aspx#207119 ) continue to be a problem.
-
Further to this, the long-standing other focus issues (see http://community.logos.com/forums/p/27207/207119.aspx#207119 ) all still exist. It would be wonderful if 4.5 could be "polished" and get rid of these long-standing bugs and annoyances.
This case is active, considered important, and a fix will be available in a future release.
Please can this be prioritized as part of the 4.5 release train...?

This focus issue persists in the latest beta version (4.5 beta 2). I use search a lot and have my hands on the keyboard most of the time. Creating a single search window with "Send Searches Here" checked, and then pressing Cmd+S should bring the search pane to the foreground (this works fine) and focus the search text-box (this works if the search pane

Thanks for the quick reply, Melissa. Looking forward to the fix.

This was improved in previous betas. Sadly, however, since 4.5 beta 2 this bug is back with a vengeance. Selecting some text in an ESV bible pane and applying basic highlighting (such as a color or bold text) takes upwards of 15 seconds to appear, and maxes out one core of the CPU entirely. Removing highlighting does the same... one CPU core flat out

Turns out "Show Visual Cues" was set to No in preferences. Not sure how this occurred (perhaps I changed the setting previously and forgot). Anyway, setting it to "Yes" fixed the "problem". Thanks for the quick response.

The orange/yellow flashing star thingy that showed the position of the verse when clicking on a search result has disappeared in the latest beta (4.5 beta 1)

Looking forward to this and other bugs getting squashed. Thank you.

I'm curious... why must we vote for the feature parity that Logos committed to deliver?

The complete lack of any Trash / Recycle Bin support in Logos is a major design flaw / oversight. This has been raised many, many times for notes, visual filters, clippings, collections, etc. Basically anything where much time and effort is involved in creating something (such as creating notes, setting up collections, etc) should be "protected" by

4.3 scrolling is improved over previous versions but is still sluggish. Attempting to scroll through a resource with two-finger swipe down results in scroll, pause, scroll, pause, pause, scroll, scroll, paauuussseee, scroll, etc. The general sluggishness (esp of menus, scrolling, etc) of Logos 4, along with long-standing bugs (see my other posts for
This problem has existed for awhile and is so basic
It's become a pattern - see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/36231.aspx . This bug has bothered me for a long time now and I can confirm it's still there in 4.3 RC1.

David, I strongly share your sentiments. Various bugs (that should be dead simple to fix) have been languishing for 7 months . For example, try editing a Formatting Style and changing the color of the text. Save the visual style then edit it again... notice the color-well is black and your custom color is forgotten... etc etc etc. The focus issues

7 months is a long time for this ( http://community.logos.com/forums/p/27983/268283.aspx#268283 ) and other bugs to remain unattended to. Please will Logos focus on the many long-standing bugs reported by many users instead of (seemingly only) piling on ever more features (Personal Book builder being the latest addition to the pile) and adding ever

When is this bug going to be fixed? This is a trivial bug-fix and truly shouldn't take 7 months... :-( May I humbly restate my request (nay, plea) that Logos focus on fixing and polishing Logos 4 Mac before piling on ever more features (Personal Book builder being the latest addition to the pile) and adding ever more bugs. The forums (and release notes
