Ok, now I think it has something to do with inserted images. I have a long note containing both text and multiple images throughout. All reference hyperlinks BEFORE the first image are ok. After the first image is inserted, however, all hyperlinks in text after that image have problems. If I create a new note and copy/paste the text ONLY from the problem

Sorry, not sure that is it either. Will continue trying to see what sequence creates the issue.
-
MJ, could you see if you can duplicate this issue on your system? Just float your Notes panel, create a note and see if the hyperlinks are created properly? Thanks.
-
Think I may have figured something out. As long as I work with Notes in the docked main window position, everything works fine regarding the reference hyperlinked. However, if I take that Notes tab and dock it in a floating window, that is when the problem starts. It continues EVEN AFTER I REDOCK THE WINDOW, or close the program and reopen to the same

Did have screenshot, but it is not showing up.

The blue hyperlinking is not marking the correct scripture text (John 1:12 is given marked "f God John"; Rom 8 is marked "ier in"), and sometimes it just does not provide the hyperlink at all (1 John 3:1-3; Gal 3:26; Rom 8:14-17). Is this a new bug?

This has happened on multiple personal books that I have created, mainly with footnotes in the original text. They work just fine in the docx file when opened in Microsoft Word. They also work fine when the docx file is converted to mobi, epub, or pdf and opened in a reader for each format. However, once the docx file is imported into Logos, some of
These open fine for me. How's your internet?
Tried running this guide again just now and one of the images came up just fine. Closed that one and tried the next and got a blank screen. Went back to the first one and tried it again . . . nothing. Am chalking it up to an internet speed issue or other bottleneck of

is there a trick to inserting an image?
Were you using the paperclip to insert? PS using the edit at the upper right under more allows you to fix without creating multiple posts.
Thanks, MJ.

No, I wasn't using the paperclip. Am trying it below. Looks like we have success, at least from what I am seeing on my end.

Running a Topic Guide on "Feasts and Festivals of Israel TOPIC" (selected from the dropdown menu) gives a MEDIA RESOURCES section and a MEDIA COLLECTIONS section. Clicking on the images in the MEDIA RESOURCES section pulls up a resource containing the image. Clicking on the images in the MEDIA COLLECTIONS section either doesn't do anything or opens

Thanks everyone for your helpful comments. Decided that there was no good alternative to increasing performance besides just getting a larger SSD drive, which is what I did. For about $100 I now have a 1TB drive instead of 128GB, and Logos is all happy now . . . so am I. Thought I would pass along a couple of links that really made the process simple

Just thought of another possible option: Program Settings | General | Internet | Download New Resources NO Set this option to NO. If you don't actually need the resource, you can at least control the timing of when you download and reindex.
-
Bradley, my solid state c: drive is running out of space. I just did what you suggested: deleted the LibraryIndex folder and let Logos build a new index from scratch. Afterwards, my LibraryIndex folder reports a size of 9.87GB and a size on disk of 9.39GB. My c: drive reports free space of 9.29GB. Does this mean that the next time it needs to reindex

Another possible option might be to use the Multiple Resources Display feature (thick double vertical bars icon). The resources you select will automatically follow the Bible passage. The layout below just adds the BKC, but you can add more from the drop down list. I think any resource that is versified will work. The icon itself toggles the added resources

Sorry, my earlier post was not exactly correct. It does seem that Graham was correct about Tool Tips needing to be turned ON. However, the interlinear PANE at the bottom still must be turned OFF. Also, cannot find anything in the Visual Filters menu that affects this. However, if you have the Information Panel ON and the WORD INFO Section expanded,
-
To do this seems to only require an interlinearized Bible, but the interlinear pane at the bottom must be turned OFF (the inline interlinear can be turned ON). Tool Tips ON/OFF does not seem to impact this display at all.

Automatic saves of Notes to both your local computer and the cloud are great. But what about the rare case where you inadvertently deleted or changed something and later you want it back, or you want to see the text before the changes you made. This could be immediately after the deletion/change, or it might be weeks or months later before you realize

Thanks for the quick reply Mark. Will check out the thread you mentioned.
