I upgraded to L6 Platinum and am loving the new features. One thing I'm not able to find is the Media Collections that are shown as "New to L6" in the comparison charts. For example, "Artifacts [sic] of the British Museum" is one of the items in this list, but I can't find it in my Library, either by searching for it or by filtering

Off to have me bedtime snack, and still no lights on at Logos.com

  • Re: how do i create a bible reading plan?

As Thomas already said, to create a reading plan you would need to use logos, in the on-line version I know of this http://everydaybible.com/?utm_source=faithlifeadnetwork&utm_medium=display&utm_content=295-400x55-885-everydaybible-textad&utm_campaign=promo-advertising2014 You can visit daily to see what the reading plan is for today's date.

  • Would like to see "Evengelical feminism & Biblical Truth" added to Logos

Hey Logos, I just bought "Discovering Biblical Equality Complementarity Without Hierarchy" and would like to see the rebuttal by Grudem added into Logos! I have both in hard copies, but would like to see Grudem"s work in logos! The issues of both volumes are not going away any time soon! Blessings, Ralph

  • Woulld like to see in Logos, Harold O.J. Brown's "Heresies:Heresy And Orthodoxy In The History of the Church"

When looking at various thoughts through out the history of the Church, I always find myself going back to my old print edition of this title... it's the best at summarizing in short what happened and who's position was it! So Please, consider adding this! Thanks!!!

  • Re: Is there a way of highlighting in Louw Nida?

Hello Milford, it's Sunny and almost 42 degrees here in Wisconsin, but cooler by the Big Pond (Lake Michigan). It didn't work for me until I clicked on visual filter in Louw Nida, then it worked using the NiV84, both with and without the interlinear ribbon. Worked also in the Lexham Lexicon to the Greek NT, again, after I turned on the visual filter

  • Crash on ESV read aloud

Both when using the drop down box, or attempting Ctrl+R, Logos 5 immediately crashes when in the ESV Bible. Wondering if this is due to a new update, or is something wrong with my system setup of L5? It does allow me to open the media ESV Audio Bible, and does not crash, only when I am in the ESV Bible and press ctrl+r does it crash. Strange, has anyone

I think it was about 1991, version 1.5, then when I got my Micron 386 and L2, life was good. The first copy I thought I picked up at Egghead Software Store, and was surprised to see any kind of Bible software there. Like someone else said, been upgrading ever since! Only recently lost my L3... computer and Window's 7 had a problem and I was unable to

More info, in case this happens to someone else. After having opened L5 with the "crtl" key, I shut it down, rebooted and it opened as expected without crashing right away, but it's not syncing, yet the Kindle works without any problems, and did so while the PC L5 was crashing (this was a blessing when the PC didn't come up, at least I was able to read

Hi Lynden, Thanks for your reply. I have the latest version Logos Bible Software 5.1 SR-2 (5.1.0.0963) After playing around with the "ctrl" key at start-up and using a blank session I am able to open books and do searches, but I lost the ability to open previous layouts, when selecting one, it immediately crashes. Very Odd to say the least. Maybe I

  • L5 Crash after Indexing

I sent an email to tech support, but thought someone might have the answer to what went wrong. I tried starting with the ctrl key twice without any success, saw errors in the two log files but, didn't fully understand what they meant. L5 worked while indexing was in progress, shut L5 down while "first time indexing" was in progress (which finished successfully

  • Re: No Sound all of a sudden

Well, I turned off Sound to "NO", and them shut down Logos. The first time it didn't do anything (when I restarted), but after doing it again, and rebooting last night, it started today with sound, and the read aloud worked as it is suppose to also. Weird, is all I can say, but I do have sound again. Thanks for all the help

  • Re: No Sound all of a sudden

Not sure if my system is different because I have a Bose speaker system, but I can't get Logos to read aloud, it goes crazy (goes through a page in about 2 seconds without any sound) when I try. This is about 1 1/2 weeks ago, when I noticed no sound at start-up, and now no reading aloud either. The only item effected by this is Logos, everything else

  • No Sound all of a sudden

I noticed with the last update I did not have the start up sound, and then tried the midi, which also did not play correctly and no sound either. I looked in program settings, and the option "play sounds" was on Yes. Everything else on the PC has sound.
Please bring Fuzzy Search back
Yes! This is one reason I still have L3 loaded. While I can kind of duplicate many things, fuzzy search was so valuable when I knew part of a verse but didn't remember where it was, etc, etc. But then sometimes I had to leave to get another coffee, because it took so long ... maybe in L5 they could
