I will grab Goldengay's. It is on sale this month in the Baker Commentary on Old Testament Wisdom and Psalms.
Thanks for the info, I'll have to think about this since I've gone over my budget, but the price for me is very tempting

Hi Michael, 3 of my favorites to look up when reading Psalms are:
I am beginning an indepth study of the Psalms. My focus will be on using the psalms in personal prayer and devotions. I am wondering what are your favorite resources for studying the psalms?
I'm wondering if someone from Logos can respond to this. The product page and the product itself both indicate it includes margin questions but they don't appear to be in the actual product.
I just returned my purchase of this product, and asked them to look into why it says one thing when describing the product, but
Has anyone else ordered and received this product? I was trying to use it for study time today and I can't find the chapter questions anywhere. For example, here is the starting page of Genesis 1 (used in all of the sample materials.) It says there are study guides in there but I cannot find them anywhere!
I just purchased
Changed Use Internet to No in Program Settings (followed by restarting);
Thank you, I didn't set to No Internet, but will try that, I think remembering to use words of Christ would have solved my problem, I'll have to keep a note on my laptop. I think that the other thing I noticed that not having the internet

Thanks MJ for the links, and I worked on some searches with the internet off, and was pretty successful, I guess the Fuzzy Search gave me the most problems (or forgetting it was not there off-line). Possibly being tired last evening when trying teach someone was my biggest problem, I did remember to make sure all my library was on the hard-drive as

Thanks for your quick reply MJ,, is there any documentation on what searches would work? And how to set them up? I wanted to a search on something in Scripture, but it won't return anything, and I thought that I had done this years ago without a problem... wanted to find where Jesus said "I do what I see the Father doing" or something like that, I know

I just got off the phone with someone from Faithlife that was not very helpful to explain this for me, but it's frustrating when you are with someone and trying show something and a search does not work. Is this something new to Logos 8? The person on the phone says it's hard to explain, but some searches are possible, but they could not tell me which

You said "So, my question to the forum is...do you know of anything, in Logos or not, that addresses this topic beyond the level of bare ivory tower pontification?" Hi David, if recently added another Systematic Theology resource https://www.logos.com/product/4171/systematic-theology-biblical-and-historical Under this heading it does a good job of explaining

The deal shows the sale price as $9. Selecting the link for the book shows the regular price as $18 I just tried it, and got it for $9.00, original price was 17.00, maybe they fixed?

Thank you John, it was driving me crazy until I did what you said! I am using Windows 10, same result. This is why the forums are such a good tool! Restarted Logos, and the Passage Guide only was open for Commentaries...I had to drag/move one line down on the sections, and then restarting did the trick.
