Using the Copy/Paste Bible Verses button in L4M to MS Word. Does not occur if I copy from a resource directly. Does not occur copying into Pages or TextEdit, Just MS Word Μac 2008. Running L4M 2.4 SR-1 on Snow Leopard.

I have my Mac set up to toggle between English, Greek and Hebrew input sources. When I use the Copy and Paste function in Logos (4.3 SR-1), the input language gets switched for some reason. So if I'm using English, then do a copy to word from Logos, the keyboard input switches to Greek. Not troublesome, just annoying :)

and I see from above that this is being worked on.

Was trying to set up a visual filter today. Using Morphology. Got as far as selecting the Logos Greek Morphology. Logos crashed when I clicked on the drop down for resources. 5516.Logging.zip

Thanks Melissa. Reinstall also corrected another issue - the program was opening in a small window in the bottom left of my screen... Coupled with learning more about what visual filters are and what the tool actually does, things are working well now.

I was looking in the wrong spot...Passage Analysis tool.

I was trying to create a Morphology Visual Filter - (Rivers?) and L4 b12 crashed each time. Attached the .crash reports (3), console message and crash report. I had used this in the past - back in February, with great results, so not sure what changed, or if I'm just not finding the right thing. 3580.Console Messages.log 4150.Archive.zip 6116.Logos4_Crash

It doesn't do that anymore. I just bought up the login screen, and reentered the password, and it didn't switch the keyboard over. I'm wondering if something happened when I uninstalled the current Beta to go back to the stable version? Or it may have just been one of those inexplicable computer moments....
-
I had a problem with this as well. What I found was that when I went to type in the password box the Keyboard Input would switch from English to Greek and wouldn't let me switch back - I posted this on the regular L4M forum as well. It took a few times a reboots to discover what was happening - I notices when I went to key in something else and was

I just bailed out of the Beta, too many issues now.... anyway, I uninstalled everything to start fresh. One issue I had with the installer - after realizing what happened - was that the installer would switch my keyboard input from english to Greek, so I couldn't log in. I rebooted thinking it may be a system issue. No luck, as soon as I clicked on

I'm having the same thing happening - When clicking on a saved layout, the program hangs, becomes a very small window in the left hand corner, then crashes. Log and Crash.txt attached. 2134.Logos4.log 2541.Logos4_Crash.txt

Thanks Melissa. That did it. NOTE TO SELF: check forum post history in account when brain is not recalling information it finds somewhat familiar and find old post on same issue...
-
I know this was an issue in the past with other resources. The pop-up info for the GNT is in Spanish rather than English.

ditto

It could be argued that the phrase should be rendered Lord GOD to highlight the fact that the word for "Lord" here is "adonai" (lord, master). The vowel pointing on YHWH - the second word in the combined title - tells the reader to say ""Elohim" - commonly translated "God". Which is how the ESV normally renders this title - look back to v. 18-20. So

I'm running L4.2Mac (current beta), and the issue is still there, I would assume it stems from formatting codes in the original electronic publication. Almost a year since this thread was started. Any word on when this resource will be fixed.
-
And here I thought it was going to be a post from the development team as to how we can pray for them during this current Beta testing period
-
I get the same thing with these resources, even if you open them and flip to the resource info panel.

Hi, just noticed that Lesson 23 is not listed separately with it's own drop down expand/collapse arrow.
By the way, Mac Beta has its own forum => http://community.logos.com/forums/90.aspx
Thanks - I hadn't found that and was wondering about a specific forum.
