  • Princeton Theological Review Seems to have disappeared from Logos 6 today

Does anyone know what happened to the Princeton Theological Review in Logos 6. I was reviewing the products I would get on an upgrade to Logos 6 Collectors Edition and they were there. Now going back I cannot find them. Also, since I wrote down how many new products I would get, I see that it decreased by 1. That 1 was 334 issues of The Princeton Theological

This is to update my comments on the slow download. After I reported progress, I decided to reboot my computer just to break the connection. Note that I had been download other things from other sites and they were fast - it was just the Logos download that was slow. Anyway, booting back up, the Logos download restarted by itself and it was much faster

Extremely slow downloading. Couldn't even get it started the first day. Now 14 hours and only 72%. Last 6 hours just 6%. 3.97GB total to be downloaded. This is on the Logos 5 Update. I wanted to get this done before looking at Logos 6. Why did they do both at the same time? What a way to test their servers! I guess they know now, they need something

Just now brought up Logos 5 and tried update now and it replies No Updates Available. Too much activity?

  • Does anyone know what's going on with the English Bible Collection

Some mysterious pages appeared with Geneva Bible and others with no prices, but pointed to a collection for about $160 some dollars that wasn't present. They seem to have disappeared now. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to purchase some of these separately or get them for a reasonable price on pre-pub. The current CP is stuck at $30 and will never

Another problem I find is that the "Find in this Panel" does not display very well what is typed into it. It's above the input box and cannot be read. It works, but you can't see what you type. Any idea on what causes this. It is true of other Bibles, not just the ESV. This is the find or search that works within a panel.

  • 5.2b Service Release 6 (5.2.2.1577) Re: audio for ESV

I find on this update that when I select Read Aloud the Narrator is wrong and even if I get it changed, on the next chapter it changes back to the computer one. When I start, David Cochran Heath is selected, but the System Narrator plays. If I stop and select the System Narrator and then change back to David, then David speaks. But at the end of the

  • Re: Master Journal Bundle (1001 vols.) No Dynamic Pricing

Has anyone reviewed the detail of the bundle to see how many current Pre-pub and CP product orders could be cancelled if one buys the total bundle. I have reviewed the CP Princeton Theological Review (443 issues) and it appears that everything in it is covered.

  • Re: Master Journal Bundle (1001 vols.) No Dynamic Pricing

I agree that the bundle is a good deal. I would have been willing to pay that much for the Princeton journal alone. However, I do not like this changing of prices all over the place, unless they are going down and not up. My dynamic price was $223.48. My order went in at $254.35, And now the order has been changed to $270.64. I also made an order for

About 11AM CST my price showed as $223.48. During the process of buying it changed to $254.35. So I cancelled that order. On the web page after that time was still $254.35. So I replaced the order at $254.35. Shucks. EDit: I just checked the order. They have changed it now to $270.64. ????? I don't think I like this. Perhaps we should all wait until

  • Re: Master Journal Bundle (1,001 vols.) Price Changed When Ordered

I do remember one change I made before I executed the order. I had a bid on the Princeton CP Journals of $425 and I changed it to $50 since I was going to order the journals in the master bundle. My plan was to cancel the order later. Could this have affected the order? Generally CP items do not affect the number.

  • Master Journal Bundle (1,001 vols.) Price Changed When Ordered

Now that Dynamic Pricing had been fixed and I saw that the Princeton Journals that had been stuck in CP were included I decided to order. I'm glad I wrote down my price before I ordered. I was offered a $223.48 dynamic price. When I completed the order the price was $254.35. The price went up $30.87 when I completed the order. How can this be?

  • Master Journal Bundle (1001 vols.) No Dynamic Pricing

This new product indicates dynamic pricing. I have most of the journals. It's the same price logged in or out. $499.95. https://www.logos.com/product/44275/master-journal-bundle

  • Do Updates to the internal DBs cause first time indexing to occur

I got an update to Biblical People, Biblical Places, Biblical Referents, and Biblical Things today. The indexing indicated 1st time indexing. Is this normal? I have over 20,000 resources and this is taking a long time. Is there any way to be warned that this is about to happen so it could be scheduled overnight? Or is this a case of corrupted indexes

  • Re: Collection rules for sorting commentaries

Thanks from me also. I've been wanting something like this for some time. For your information, here are the numbers on what was eliminated from my 1750-1950 group as I took away the other groups: Starting number in 1750-1950 = 1299 less Antiquity = 1287, less Medieval = 1279, less Reformation = 1228, less Intermediate = 1071 less Special = 1069, less

  • Re: iPad App Problem

This happened to me also at the same time after months of no problems and no changes in my books. I think Logos changed something. I deleted and reloaded the app and now it sorta works but not as well as before. It freezes all the time. I think they added a capability that messed up others or they are having server problems.

  • Re: English Bible Collection 27 Volumes

This product has the 4th highest number of bidders of all CP projects. You can check this by looking at bestselling order. Your bid would need to be about $80, like my bid, for it to go to production.
