Would love sermon builder to be able to give the option of having a part of the verse in our notes, and not the whole verse. I want to highlight 1John 4:7a - " Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God." For this sermon, I don't need to highlight the rest of the verse (b - Anyone who loves is a child
Does Faithlife use their own servers to host all of their content? Do our Logos resources reside on Faithlife owned servers or a third party? I'd be real upset if some third party decided they didn't like Faithlife and all of a sudden I can't access any of my Logos materials.
I have no inside knowledge here, but

The OP troll only has one post, so...

Editing in the Sermon Builder has been requested for some time in the mobile app, but for now we don't have it. I am trying to use the new Preaching Mode. The problem: When I run through my sermons ahead of time (I usually practice it 2-3 times), I make changes on the fly by making notes on my paper. Then I go back and make those changes and print another

My apologies. I just realized I posted this in the wrong forum.

Do those of you that use sales reps find that you get better deals than what is on the website?

I know that editing has been requested for some time in the mobile app, but for now we don't have it. When I run through my sermons ahead of time (I usually practice it 2-3 times), I make changes on the fly. Then I go back and make those changes and print another copy. I cannot do that if I use my iPad. Do you have any advice on how to work around this

I have two questions: 1) When I copy in any paragraph style, there are two spaces after every verse. I do not like this at all. Is there a way to get rid of that and only have one space after each verse? 2) Most English versions translate YHWH as "LORD" in all caps. Is there any way to get copy verses to either substitute "LORD" with simply "Lord?"

My personal and anecdotal experience: About 6 years ago, I contacted Logos about working there. I am a Pastor now as I was then, and before that I was in sales management with a large corporation. They flew me to Bellingham and I got the tour and so forth. I met Bob for a short meeting. Everyone was very nice and I have nothing to say that is negative

A big Missouri SALUTE to you, MJ!
Apologies that it doesn't add anything to the thread, I just wanted to say I love the phrase 'full exegetical battleship'
I agree! Might have to steal that one.
The lack of crash reports, the lack of complaints on the forums .... all in all the smoothest, best received rollout I've spent with Logos/Verbum
Great observation, MJ. I have been around since the version that was before Series X (more than 20 years ago) and I agree this is the best rollout ever. BTW, I appreciate

I guess I am "dying" to get my hands on Logos 9.
-
I would check the forums on Monday. When depends on your time zone. Monday is my prediction. But it is only a guess.
-
Put a big "9" on your calendar on October 26th.
-
Logos.com is blank for me this morning. Was OK yesterday evening. Also, for a couple of weeks, if you go to logos.com/9 it is a blank page. If you replace that with another, higher number like "10" it gives you an error page. We are very very close, friends.

I'm on the public beta on my Macbook Pro, 2013. No issues with Logos at all.

I will do that, Jordan. But it will be a few days as I am away from the church until Sunday.

Joey - In the past all the webinars have been archived so you can view them anytime. I assume these will be the same.

I sometimes edit on a Mac, but this is happening on a PC. I have directly loaded the video from that PC.
