• BUG: NT use of OT Original Language

I am on Mac Os X 10.11.6, using Logos 7.3.0.0041 I just upgraded to L7 through a logos now subscription and am trying to understand the new features and am pretty sure I found a bug. When using the Interactive tool NT use of the OT, and turning on the Original Language filter, when I sort by source I sometimes see both the Hebrew and the Greek texts

  • BUG: I broke Basic Search!

I was trying to do a basic search. I changed my search group from "in ALL" to "Mytag:" and my tagged theology set. I mistyped and put ; instead of : but caught my mistake and fixed it before hitting enter. I did not use the dropdown + clicking on the list of tagged groups. The result was that the "in ALL" dropdown option disappeared! I had "in" and

  • Reference Box truncating

The reference box on my Bibles seems to be autosizing, but for some Bibles it truncates the reference box so much that I can no longer view the complete reference while not doing so on others. It seems to me like this is a bug, is anybody else seeing this? (OSX 10.9.6; L6.6.SR-1) These are just 2 examples, it really seems to vary across the different

I have this happen as well on occasion. Usually changing the focus to a different window will cause it to go away (OsX 10.9.5; L6.6 SR-1)
Does your CBV style use the Word defaults? That the one deliberate change in fonts that comes to mind.
At the moment I am using a custom set up. Now, if I look at the CBV window, it sys "to Microsoft Word" but the problem persists whether I choose "Pages" or "TextEdit" etc. Here are the command functions in this CBV

  • Re: BUG: Copy Verse

I have had this issue since at least L5 and maybe even as far back as L4. It certainly isn't new by any means. I have just come to the point that I am frustrated enough that I come to the forums. I held off earlier because there were more pressing bugs that have now been resolved. But I digress. This problem also exists on my other Mac with L6 installed

  • BUG: Copy Verse

I am running OSX 10.9.5, Logos 6.3.0074. In the Logos preferences I have the default resource font set to Times New Roman, and the default Notes font set to Gentium. However when I use the copy Bible Verse function (regardless of how I get there) and paste the verse(s) into notes the text is ALWAYS Hevetica 9. I have looked over the wiki entry on editing

  • Re: BUG Search Panel Change

Thank you! I can confirm that this resolved not only this problem but another note text related scaling issue.

  • Re: BUG Search Panel Change

You are correct that at that particular scaling, the problem does not occur. However, while you may be still blessed with good visual acuity at a smaller scale, at that setting I cannot read anything without giving myself a headache. Hopefully a fix will be available soon. I will just deal with it using my workarounds for now. Thanks.

At the moment I have the Logos preferences set at 100% and have for a few days. I dropped it down from 140% on Friday or Monday trying to prevent a whole different issue in notes with the default font size always being 16, but that is a different issue that I haven't had time to bring up, and is a lesser priority because is has a much smaller impact

  • Re: BUG Search Panel Change

Any change to the window that causes the pane to resize seems to take care of the offset problem. For example, with the screen shot above, once I closed the Copy Bible Verse pane, the search and Bible panes resized and the offset was corrected, at least until the next time I trigger it. These are using different layouts. The first screen shot was taken

Reuben, I am quite familiar with the technical use of the term "view" as a method of aggregating and presenting data from various tables into a single place that appears to the user as if it were a table. However if you are using it in any other sense, I am simply not sure what you are asking for. The screen shots show which resources and choices I

  • [resolved] BUG Search Panel Change

After updating to 6.3 this afternoon I have noticed a new Bug. When searching on a word or phrase in Bible, and then changing the search type from Bible to Basic and running the same word search, the entire set of results is offset, so that there is a wide bar of empty space on the right, with much clipped and unviewable on the left, scrolling is not

I will say that at least as far as I am able to tell they have managed to resolve the issue for me.

This appears to be affecting me as well. I had the issue crop up when I notices and astronomical change in pricing of a couple pre pubs and someone on the forums directed me to this post. I can called CS and the gentleman I spoke with said he would look into it.

  • Re: Outrageous Price Increase

Well, if you want them, according to Logos you had better order now! I tried logging out and back in and the price is still the same highly elevated price for me. Thanks for confirming those prices Mr. Quick. I can only hope that there is a problem that will get fixed.

I wish that were the case. I am indeed signed into my account. I dearly hope that this isn't a reflection of dynamic pricing since the price is essentially $35/journal for JGES!

  • Outrageous Price Increase

I must say I am frustrated and disgusted. Frustrated with Logos and disgusted with myself. I found a couple of journal sets on pre-pub this morning before work https://www.logos.com/product/46387/tjl-upgrade-bundle This one was listed at $55 (and change). https://www.logos.com/product/44096/journal-of-the-grace-evangelical-society This one was listed
