  • Re: Reading a book and want to mark what page I finish

If you open up "favorites" under the "tools" tab there is a "bookmark" section at the bottom. Just drag the tab of the book when you are done reading at then you can click it the next time you want to read and it will open up to where you left off.

  • Re: No NEW Journals - why not?

Phil - can I ask what's up with Biblical Archaeology Review. Faithlife used to carry it, but it has been several years. The issues I do have are also not available on my mobile devices. Is there any chance of this changing soon? Thanks.

I've done a great job keeping my spending in check, so I kinda hope any sale isn't too tempting for me.

  • Aquinas Commentary on Isaiah - How long until it ships?

I placed my prepub order in March 2012. I'm not sure how long it took to get enough orders to go into development, but I was wondering if FaithLife had any input on how close it is to shipping. https://www.logos.com/product/18438/aquinas-commentary-on-the-prophet-isaiah-english-and-latin

  • Aquinas Commentary on Jeremiah - Almost near production

Can we get a few more orders to move this into production. I don't need the Latin, but I would like the English translation. https://www.logos.com/product/18439/aquinas-commentary-on-the-prophet-jeremiah-english-and-latin

  • Prepub Pricing Error

(I wasn't sure how to title this thread). I was looking over my preorders and stumbled across this: I ordered this over 5 years ago for 24.95, which is what is also the cost on my preorders page. Yet, the webpage has it for 7.99. I'm going to cancel my prepub and reorder it, but if I didn't would that mean that I would still pay 24.95 when it ships

  • Re: Books I need for courses?

I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but I would like to see required and recommended books for each course put into a bundle that can be purchased.

  • Re: Bequeathing Library?

I have been receiving the academic discount for several years. Does that limit my ability to pass on my library after I'm gone?

A lot of great comments. I will probably add a tag to these resources - Thanks.

  • How to quote a plagiarized resource (or not).

With the resources being pulled (as they should) for plagiarism, should they be quoted from or not? I have several of the resources in my library that have been recently been pulled by publishers. How much value do they now have? I also don't want to forget these resources and accidentally quote from them later on. Any thoughts on how to avoid this

  • Re: Latest Edition of Books

[quote user="Paul McCloud"] Has anyone else run into a problem finding the latest edition of a book? I was looking for An Introduction to the New Testament by Carson, D. A., Moo, Douglas J. • Zondervan 2005. This is the 2nd edition. The latest is the 2nd revised edition published in 2009. I was told that it will not be available in Logos in the

[quote user="williamvarner"]It was not intentional, but it was wrong. I copied into a third document for research and then pasted into my commentary, and sometimes overlooked then crediting the source. No excuse. I was wrong. I apologize to my readers. Logos/Faithlife was right in what they did. I have repaired the problems and a second edition which

  • Re: WTB Biblical Archaeology Review Collection - no longer on Logos

It's been several years since FaithLife has carried BAR. I know this has been discussed in several threads and a number of users have requested it. Hopefully, they bring it back someday. I imagine there are issues with the contract as it is still available in other Bible software programs. I purchased BAR a number of years ago along with Bible Review

  • Suggestion for Memorization Tool

Years ago when memorizing a verse/passage, I was taught to say the reference before and after the verse. This helped me remember where to find the passage. I like the memorization tool in Logos, but I wish the book/chapter and verse was included too.

  • Getting Logos to work offline

I'm not always connected to the Internet, so when I open Logos it used to ask if I wanted to work offline or connect to the Internet. When I selected work "offline", Logos would open to the layout I closed. However, recently, if I'm offline, when Logos opens up it tries to sync and I have a continual red exclamation point in the upper right of my screen

  • Re: Old CDs

I'm sure I don't need them, but I hang on to the CD's anyway. I've got quite a few (approx 100+), but most are in paper sleeves, so they don't take up much room. They're all in one box - a bit bigger than a shoe box.

  • Re: Learning Hebrew and Greek

Something else that I liked about Mounce was the ability to download the audio version of the lessons and listen to them while driving back and forth to work. He also has the vocabulary in audio as well. I was able to go over and over them which helped me learn them. I'm not sure if this is available in Bible Mesh.
