  • Export to iCal, broken

When I change the Calendar while attempting to use Logos 6 for macOS Sierra to export a reading plan via 'iCal' (an archaic term at this point, just saying,) the dialogue is dismissed. When I go back, it's reset back to a default calendar and nothing is exported. Is this an already reported issue? Bug fix coming? Jacques

  • Removing iOS installs from Logos

Just bought a book, and the Logos.com website offers to install it on my mobile devices. I have there listed maybe twenty of them, as I reinstall iOS fairly often. How to clear Logos' cache of my devices? ..to tidy it up?

  • Re: The Covenant of Life Opened, by Rutherford

I just saw the post above, a few responses up. So it's going to have to be purchased, and it will not be added.

Are these going to be added automatically to my existing Samuel Rutherford Collection, when completed? thanks

  • Re: El Capitan beta Can't open Logos 6

The new public beta 2 of El Capitan released today, still works fine with the Logos 6.5 beta. I actually ended up trying out Accordance because of all this. WOW is that a fast Bible app.

Just a quick note to Peter: the CPU intensity and fan blowout is normal for all of us, I checked into what was triggering it. All the contacts are re-syncing. In my case, I have five accounts but only one was set previously to sync contacts. When I updated to the Public Beta of El Capitan, the settings were changed and ALL the contacts were syncing

  • Logos 6 and Mavericks

I have a Mac that has been running Logos 6 just fine in Mavericks, and just days ago it updated and now Logos 6 requires Yosemite. This Mac cannot upgrade to Yosemite. Anyone seeing this issue? Will this be corrected? thanks UPDATE: it was bug associated with the dock alias. Launching from the Application folder worked, and there has been an update

  • Re: Printing Table of Contents

Yes, thank you. However, this isn't entirely what I meant. So I did see the ability to print the 'Contents' but this is only showing the Chapter numbers and titles, and passes by each section under the Chapters. For instance Book 1, Chapter IX's title is Fanatics, Abandoning Scripture and Flying over to Revelation etc. Then, 1. The Fanatics Wrongly

  • Printing Table of Contents

I'd like to print the TOC of the Battles translation of Calvin's Institutes. I've tried to highlight them to copy paste, some other things.. I can't figure this one out. Anyone have a suggestion?

  • Re: Selecting verses to copy

When I permitted the beta update, it asked me many times if I would like to update etc. I think I accepted one too many times. Turns out my entire Logos install was botched! I erased all and tried to install from the latest beta 5 engine, it fails for me. So I'm back to installing the default download and I'm going to set the update path back to stable

  • Re: Selecting verses to copy

In this case, a few people have gone to the beta channel simply to get this bug fixed. See the thread mentioned above. The user felt it was overall very stable, in this case. This is why after letting the latest beta download, going straight back to the stable or default channel is suggested. This way, the version does not update until the next stable

  • Re: Selecting verses to copy

Thanks, read the thread. For now, until the bug fix populates to stable releases, it's an easy fix. Just set Logos to the beta channel (as the fix is there), then after that upgrade reset the channel back to stable or default. How to do this here: https://wiki.logos.com/The_Logos_6_Beta_Program

  • Selecting verses to copy

I'm trying to highlight to verses using Logos 6 for Mac. Phi. 2:12-13. When dragging over it, I can select both verses .. but when I let go, it grabs MANY more verses. Surely a bug. Has anyone figured out a work-around? thanks

  • Re: Today's Readings - changes

There is a checkmark box, the day of the reading according to my plan, and the section I'm reading. There is only one place to select, and that's the section I'm reading (in this case a chapter of Genesis). Nothing else open, work area clear. Is there a way to assign Reading plans extra panes (such as Passage Guide) to open along with the selection

  • Reading list behavior

I just recently upgraded to Logos 6 from Logos 5, and lost a behavior I liked. In Logos 6, if you open up a Reading list (when no other resources are already open) it just opens the selection with no extra tools. In Logos 5, when one does the same extra panels are opened with extra tools. Can anyone remind me what they are? thanks

No I don't recall, but I'd like that behavior (or bug fixed?) back. Anyone have ideas?

  • Re: Today's Readings - changes

I'm talking about just that: Opening Reading lists when no other resources are open. I'd like to have that functionality back! It was quick and helpful..

  • Re: Today's Readings - changes

I usually select the Reading plan from the Home screen, it's always listing there on the left side on my Mac. So it just opens the selection on the right-hand side, with no tools or extra panes. In Logos 5 there were extra tools and panes that pulled up automatically...

  • Today's Readings - changes

I'm noticing that when I select a Reading list from Today's readings in Logos 6, the selection is no longer accompanied by other tools as the behavior in Logos 5. Is this a bug or change? If it's a change, is there a way to change it back? thanks
