• Re: Bug: Resources open in the opposite Tile with v8.3

I'm on macOS 10.14.3 using Verbum. Here's a screen cap of opening several devotionals, they all open RHS, even if I drag one over to LHS and close.

I'm seeing the same behavior with daily devotionals opened from cards on the dashboard, which used to open LHS.

  • Re: THE PASSION TRANSLATION - Psalms, Proverbs, & Song of Songs missing

I'd love to see Psalms/Proverbs/Song of Songs, though it would be gravy... I bought it for the New Testament, and was surprised by the listing of them on the title page. Anything extra feels like, well, extra.

  • Re: THE PASSION TRANSLATION - Psalms, Proverbs, & Song of Songs missing

The title page of the book says, "The Passion Translation New Testament with with Psalms, Proverbs, and Song of Songs." The disconnect appears to be between the first thirteen words of the Logos volume, and what it actually contains. The Logos citation for the book includes: {Simmons_2017, title={The Passion Translation: New Testament}, booktitle={The
Start the Index Bible Studies.exe program, which will open Logos (if it is not already open), read the names of all the books in your library, and then create a file My Index Bible Studies.rtf in your Documents directory. Open that file in Word or another word processor, and then save it as a docx file. Then create a personal

  • Re: Need help with linking within a Word Doc

There appears to be a quirk that a reference to a headword actually jumps you back to the closest preceding Heading milestone — what would show up in the sidebar TOC. That also affects the pop-up hover text, where the hover text for "See the note on 1.8d" is the first paragraph of the first section notes, i.e. Rev 1:4a. At least that's how it

  • Personal books: tab support in added fields / Mac

In the personal book builder, the tab key doesn't work as expected for added fields. This may be Mac-specific. Here are two suggestions. 1. When adding a custom field, set focus on the new input field. Use case: In the title field, I've highlighted and copied (⌘-C) the text I wish to use for my abbreviated title. I select "Abbreviated Title" from the
Since we don't know which methods you've tried and discarded, let me suggest Calibre to convert all ebook formats into a .docx format that you can build into personal books for Logos. It works for many of us, and I've converted a "bunch" of books for my own library.
Recently I've used pandoc ( https://pandoc.org

+1 on this. There is a uservoice ticket for this suggestion as well; I don't know if those actually carry any weight. https://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-6/suggestions/2471283-allow-epubs-to-be-importable

  • Transferring personal books

New computer, fresh install of Verbum 6. On my old computer, it was Logos 5. I had a lot of personal books. Not trying to be a jerk, but if I've paid for the ePub or Kindle version of a book, I have a real hard time paying again for the Vyrso edition. So I have many titles that have gone through the ePub->Word->PBB route . Verbum 6 lists all my Personal

  • Mac - move resources to external drive

Is there a way to move my Logos resources folder to an external drive? The only relevant posting I could find on the topic was forums/p/21625/162204.aspx where a Logos employee stated, " This is theoretically possible, but it's not officially supported." That was from 2010. The basic problem is I have a MacBook Air with a ~110G SSD, and Logos is eating
