I appreciate having these in Logos; however, it is sometimes good to go to the Sinaiticus website to view how it was actually written.

I don't often look at the parsing info, but when I have I haven't noticed anything too long to fit in the space provided. I have my Hebrew and Greek texts stacked one atop the other (click tab to see desired text) occupying ½ the screen. If you'll mention a text and word where this is a problem, I'll take a look at it.

There is really no reason to not upgrade. You keep whatever you already have even though you don't buy a single thing and generally get better performance. If you want certain functions which are available in L6 which were not in your previous version, you can purchase the crossgrade (or not if you don't wish to). I wouldn't worry about base packages

Even when I open HALOT to חרם 1 and then open TDOT (which should then open to the same word as HALOT) TDOT still opens to the wrong word. There is definitely a problem with TDOT.
-
A little more digging on my part. Does anyone have a wash cloth? I seem to have egg on my face. I was thinking of HALOT rather than TDOT. You are correct that it links to the wrong word. This seems the case whether you double-click or use BWS. Sorry to introduce confusion into the discussion, but my go-to in Hebrew is HALOT (sometimes A Dictionary of
An example would be Lev 27:29 . The TDOT text refers to this passage ... (see below). This is from what Reuben calls "TDOT Volume 5, Page 180". However the link jumps to the NEXT lemma in TDOT (=TDOT Volume 5, Page 199).
Normally I don't use BWS; however, in this case I made an exception. Whether I double-click
I don't speak for FL, nor do I know what their practice is. I don't know why it would be controversial, however. FL has a right to know which devices you have installed the software on. Otherwise, you could sell access to your account to hundreds.
You still can. Some have Logos installed on more than one PC. Some even
When clicking the TDOT link in this BWS , it goes to a lemma with the same radicals, but is nonetheless the wrong place. It lands on this page [TDOT Volume 5, Page 199] instead of this one [TDOT Volume 5, Page 180].
Could you be more specific? No one can reproduce this unless you indicate the passage. We might
On the Mac, I had nothing but trouble with Word. Years ago I would use WordPerfect in DOS thinking it superior to Word, but I got the impression that it didn't keep up with developments. I wasn't even sure that WordPerfect was still in production. Use whichever seems best to you.
