Larry, Did you edit the "Exclusions" like Richard DeRuiter suggested earlier in this thread? I hope that you get it fixed, (Another) Richard
Yes, I did, but I went back to check and make sure Logos is listed as an exclusion. It is. I ended up calling tech support. They walked me through getting Logos up and running again

Got me too. I submitted a false report. I did the right click - restore from the virus chest, tried to load Logos, got another malware report. Tried turning off Avast. Windows reports it can't find Logos. I'll keep trying.

  • EEC James just downloaded

Just a heads up for those anticipating it. That's James: Evangelical Exegetical Commentary by Will Varner. That makes four now from the EEC.

  • Evangelical Exegetical Commentary

Well, if I'm counting right it looks like there will be three releases in 2012: 1,2,3 John in April; Exodus in June; and James in Sept. Anybody heard differently? Also, what is your opinion of the volumes already released?

I don't know if his name has been mentioned yet, but isn't Logos own Mike Heiser somewhat of an expert in this area with a related ministry to those who have had "experiences"? I think he has a website and some articles as well as his book which Logos sells called The Facade. Okay, here's a link http://www.michaelsheiser.com/ He has contact info on

The Moody Handbook of Theology has a decent discussion about the distinctions between biblical, systematic, historical, dogmatic theology etc. Here is a summary statement that may give you a sense of what's under discussion: Biblical theology investigates the periods of history in which God has revealed Himself or the doctrinal emphases of the different

  • Re: No book numbers available in Kent Hughes Book

This brings up a few questions. I have encountered this issue repeatedly in older works. However, it appears this is not only about older works that are digitized from paper. There are no page numbers in the brand new Evangelical Exegetical Commentary either. I was disappointed to discover that. The EEC is being released in digital form by Logos. Since

I was also experiencing some trouble with the cutting and pasting of URLs yesterday. I just checked it again and found I am able to copy the URL either by using control-alt-c or by clicking on URL but I can only paste in the hyperlink box by using right-click paste. The control-k will not paste into the hyperlink field.
