Safari for Mac also has the spell check built into the program.
At present the only options seem to be to purchase these individually, or as part of the Portfolio version of Logos. Both options are very costly.
You do know about the Early Judaism Bundle and the Hebrew Bible Bundle, don't you? That's how I intend to buy [most of] the Jewish resources some day. And I presume you

I thought I already posted this, but it didn't turn up so I'll try again...
I am always excited to see members of the "minority users" on the forums. [Minority includes Jewish, Anglican, Lutheran, Catholic, Orthodox ...]
I must be the ultimate minority, then: formally Lutheran, theologically Catholic, and with Jewish

  • Re: Dictionary of Major Biblical Interpreters - Almost there!

To get back to the topic that was discussed before I ran into trouble with Amazon: I did some poking around in a sort-of-Baptist seminary library Friday (the only theological library I know of within 3 hours or so). I was mainly checking out commentary series, but I had a quick look at all the dictionaries with 'interpreter' or 'interpretation' in the

  • Re: Pronunciation crash...

I have another (related or unrelated?) pronunciation issue. I tried the 'read aloud' option, just to find out what the Greek would sound like -- but instead of giving me audio the text starts scrolling super-fast with lots of yellow stars appearing, and there is no way to shut it off, except to press down on the x until the computer finally finds a

Thanks. The Logos page I've already looked at. I'll check the other one out tomorrow. Right now it's 02.48 AM over here, and I'm off to bed!

Oh yes, I was most definitely logged in. I just switched computers, so it didn't happen automatically, which is why I know with absolute certainty that I couldn't even do a search until I'd figured out my settings and logged in manually. I'm on Mac / Safari.

Thanks for all your replies! I guess this is where I ought to learn how to make 'real' quotes, but I don't have the time to figure it out right now, so I'll just do it the old-fashioned way... Damian " Are there any particular books of the bible in which you are interested?" For the moment, no. Right now this is about me wanting, at some point, to buy

I'm so new to this that I really shouldn't say anything, but isn't there a very simple solution to solve [most of] this problem, which seems to come up a lot: add a column to the library called 'download date', or something like that. The computer already has the information to put there; all that's needed is the column itself. And then we could sort

Add me to the list! This would be my number one priority to get into pre-pub. (Does anyone happen to know if Helmer Ringgren is still alive? Swedish Wikipedia doesn't mention a death date, but they've only got one line, and he's born in 1917, so he'd be pretty old by now. I had his wife in Hebrew once upon a time.)

Mark Shea is good too. By What Authority? An Evangelical Discovers Catholic Tradition is really great, and can definitely be recommended for anyone wanting a Catholic perspective on Scripture and Tradition. Not such a good speaker as Scott Hahn, though, in my opinion.

Dan Thanks for the offer! Let me just make sure we're on the same page about one detail. You write "Any time after the Pre-Pubs that you originally ordered shipped, you may call your sales rep. and ask them to place your order." and "All orders must be placed before the end of June 2011." Well, since these are pre-pubs, it goes without saying that some
when Dan throws away our snap shot, all frozen prices are lost
The question here is 'what is an order?'. Right now, if I click on an upgrade, or if I click on a pre-pub, they are both called 'orders'. Therefore it seems to me, that if I, on June 30, e-mail my sales rep to buy a book already shipped, or if I e-mail

Matthew Since Dan and I hit the 'Post' button within seconds of each other, and the forum software decided to change the page exactly between our two posts, you obviously missed that Dan has already answered.

You'll either get inflated figures and send things into production
