Ah! I must confess to having no memory of how it happened, so I'll take your word for it. I just happened to see it showed up twice, and both entries led to the same product page.
The same behaviour does not appear on logos.com
It does, actually. I realized a couple of days ago that I had somehow managed to 'purchase' Das Neue Testament, die Psalmen, die Sprüche in deutscher Fassung (Jantzen-Jettel) twice, both Jan 31 and Feb 8. It's a free book, so it doesn't matter much,

You also don't need to send two -- seemingly identical except for the font -- automatic replies when I e-mail CS...

It's a very reasonable request. I've been asking for it since 2010 without success... And while we're at it: it would be helpful if the 'Thank you for your order' e-mails didn't have lots of downloading info at the top and the actual purchase almost at the bottom. One should be able to select an e-mail and immediately see at a glance what purchase it

FYI, this was just posted in the Catholic forum:
Verbum Now customers may have heard that Logos Now and Logos Cloud customers will be transitioned into our new subscription product, Faithlife Connect, and that we’ll be discontinuing those programs over the next year. We currently have no plans to discontinue Verbum

  • Tagging inconsistency

You seem to have tagged Homilies of St. John Chrysostom (9 vols.) as monographs, but Homilies of St. John Chrysostom Upgrade (6 vols.) as Bible Commentaries. They are all from the same series, A Library of Fathers of the Holy Catholic Church, and when I opened Corinthians, which has one volume in each, they looked similar and both had Bible indexes

  • Re: Free Book of the Month: October 2017
considering the role played by Romans in the Reformation, a commentary on Romans by a Roman Catholic does seem to be a suitable Faithlife gift this 500th Anniversary
And considering that Luther was an Augustinian monk, St. Augustine on Faith and Works seems like a suitable choice for Verbum.

  • Canon law resources – website issues

May I suggest that you start tagging canon law books with Category:Canon Law? At present it's fairly impossible to get an overview of what you sell. Also, the 1917 code should have the categories Church Documents and Creeds... added, like the present code has. Furthermore, I'm wondering if you shouldn't remove the CIC from the 1917 Code of Canon Law

  • Re: Free Book of the Month: October 2017
there are tons of available series not in Portfolio or Collector's. Why must the freebies so often come from those packages?
Presumably because publishers who don't agree to have their books sold for next to nothing in base packages are even less likely to agree to give them away for free.

  • Incomplete series on the free book list

The Creeds of Christendom and the Land and the Book are both missing one volume in the list of free books. Is this by mistake or deliberation?

  • Re: Free book not free

Thanks, but this has me worried. I assumed prices were kept in a central database and could be trusted to be the same on all sites. But if the free book can have the wrong price, how can I trust that other books have the correct price and can't be found cheaper on another site? Do I have to check every book on all possible sites before I buy?

  • Re: Stop changing my account!

This goes much deeper than cookies. When I'm logged into my Verbum account and click on profile, I end up on a page called fgh! How on earth did that happen? I'm not even using the same e-mail for those accounts! How did you suddenly decide they belong to the same person?

  • Re: Stop changing my account!

Also, when I went back to verbum.com after having posted about the free book not being free, not only did I have to log out and log in again, I also found that you had emptied my cart for me! (Another thing logos.com doesn't do – I just tested.)
