  • Ipad Mini Retina (2nd Generation) with Logos

I am considering moving from a full sized Ipad (Generation 4) to an Ipad mini retina 2. I've been using the Ipad 4 for a while now with the Logos app, and also to preach from. My question is for those that have transitioned to the smaller screen size, have you had any problems adjusting to the smaller screen? Have you had to adjust how you use the Logos

Michel, I wasnt thrilled with having to buy another upgrade also, I was stuck between Silver, Gold and platinum. I ended going with the platinum, and the reason i upgraded, was because many of the books included in my new package were on my wishlist, it was cheaper for me to jump all in, then wait and purchase them individually. I agree with you also

  • Re: Disappointed

I understand why so many are upset with all the confusion. I think probably the best thing they could have done is rebranded all the base packages in Logos 5. Let me try to offer some perspective, This past March/April I bought a IPAD 3, at a heavy investment cost to me (particularly to use Logos). So i went to reading the press conference they had

The key to understand you still own and have access to all of your books that were in a base package, you might not can call it by the same name. You are not forced to go up to the new base package, as they will be offering by the repeated confirmation of the MVPS a cross grade where you get the functionality.

I think everyone needs to take a step back and take a deep breath for a moment. I understand the confusion, as some things aren't clear,. For my situation and my situation only it made sense for me to "upgrade" fro. Platinum jg to the new platinum, as most of the new resources were on my wish list were included. That might not be the case for you, he

The outline app in the link above is free but is limited in what it can do and has no Dropbox support. Outline + was free for one day it is the more featured and is currently $14.99 (which I gladly paid) i hope I put the right link to the full edition that was free last week, I might owe everyone an apology if I linked to the wrong one. I put the link

I feel like I've hijacked the thread, with these. Wanted to give another I have used and liked. It's more traditional for those who like a structure of an outline. It's called omni-outliner. Its pricey at $20, and its biggest hindrance is its lack of Dropbox or iCloud support. If your into creating structured outlines on the iPad it's great. For the

Here is an example of the flexibility outline + allows you to have. Outline enables you to take each of the text boxes and make them as wide or narrow as you want. Enables you (when created from onenote) to edit tables, which I have come to love for breaking down scripture passages in my notes (as seen above text box on the right). It also has some

Outline+ is free for today (October 5, $14.99). This is the app that I use, because I use Microsoft office Onenote to do my sermon prep. It uses Dropbox to sync between your Onenote file on PC and the notebook file on your IPad. I can send notes to iPad, then make additional notes and it will sync back to my Pc. It does require a little computer savy

  • Re: Evangelical Exegetical Commentary

I m extremely disappointed in this decision. I understand why some were upset, regarding the marketing, but for those who couldn't afford to preorder the complete set, the sale of these individual commentaries was much welcomed. One of my major disappointments concerning logos is the lack of availability of individual volumes of commentaries. This problem

I guess never mind is in order. I had a book download so it opened shut and indexed and now its working. I had already tried restarting the program and the computer. Oh well another mystery solved, with no clue why it wasn't working or how it is working now LOL

  • Problem with missing Scripture pop-ups in reference, and commentary, and concordances

Hey, I dont know if I have done something to a setting or what. Im used to when i click on a scripture hyperlink such as a concordance reference in a bible there being a popup where you can read that scripture, without clicking on it. When i hover over the scriptural reference, its bringing up a small popup at the bottom of the screen with the Book

  • Re: Now the first three EEC commentaries are available individually

I know some are disappointed with this development based off what was said when, logos was offering fantastic deals to early subscribers, but as one who couldn't afford to get in at that time, I am overjoyed they are offering the opportunity to get in with individual volumes. I really wish they would do that with more of their sets. I totally understand

Ergatee, did you go to settings and turn on the cover lock/unlock believe its found on the general settings, I can't remember if it is on or off by default. I have never messed with the iTunes wifi sync, so someone more experienced will have to fill you in on that. Hope I helps

Dan, hd movies can be quite large, with a 2 hr movie about 3-5 gb, you will find the rental option available, and the best option, I think it would be hard with a 16gb to have too many he movies reside permanently. I think as Bill stated, you are on the right track, getting a smaller one which works with your finance, trying it out, and if you need
