I was thinking that a RAM upgrade wouldn't hurt. I do run Windows 7 - 64 Bit. So I probably will bump it up when i raise the necessary funds. That what's a blessing; I took a leap of faith that I would like the program so i jumped in with the silver base package and now that i really do like it I want to go ahead and jump up to a higher package. It

  • Re: Video series on preparing a sermon complete!

New to Logos 4 and i immensely enjoyed all of your videos. I love seeing how other preachers, study, make notes, do outlines and use bible programs to suit their needs. I learned alot from your videos and learned some thing to help streamline and make my study time and sermon preparation more efficient.

  • indexing question

I just bought the IVP reference question and apparently it has not indexed. It indexed before it downloaded the new books but when you search for a common word like God it doesn't show any of the new books from a basic search; I even tried searching some of the headings (ex "Salvation by works" from John 5.28-29 Hard sayings of the Bible) and it comes

After my experience with the NT Dictionaries, The OT editions are on my radar even though it is not complete. I haven't heard anything about the OT volumes but if they are even close to the Quality of the NT then I'm in. I agree, among Independent baptist there are many different types from ultra conservative to moderate in belief and it seems most don't want to associate with the other. I was raised Independent or Evangelical methodist and also in Ind. Baptist Churches. My family has pastored in both denominations. Now talk about something hard: having a Methodist

I preached for the first time with my iPad today, and other than the glare of the pulpit lights I really liked it. Instead of turning pages I just had to scroll down a little bit. I am looking forward to transferring a bulk of messages over, so I don't have to carry so many "just in case" messages in my Bible. I used file app tp transfer it over but

  • Question concerning Galatians 6:1

I have been studying the phrase Ἀδελφοί, ἐὰν καὶ προληφθῇ ἄνθρωπος ἔν τινι παραπτώματι , (. The New Testament in Greek (Scrivener 1881) (Ga 6:1).) from Galatians 6.1 and see that there are several ideas concerning the interpretation of the two words which are in bold. KJV states the phrase as "overtaken in a fault" it has also been translated as caught

  • Re: Should I take the Plunge to Platinum? A Gold User Asks

I recently went from silver to platinum, for me the pillar commentary was what made the upgrade worth the cost (the Ephesians commentary by o'brien is excellent, as well as john by DA Carson) BDAG sealed the deal, everything else was icing on the cake, might not use them much but nice to have just in case.
