  • Re: Help with my computer temp reading

I have an Asus G60-jx I5 Processor and those temps are actually pretty standard for a laptop especially an i7 processor as they tend to generate more heat - my core processors temps range anywhere from 35-45 C depending on the load. You must remember also that a laptop is a cramped space so the heat will normally be higher than a desktop. Plus they

After my experience with the NT Dictionaries, The OT editions are on my radar even though it is not complete. I haven't heard anything about the OT volumes but if they are even close to the Quality of the NT then I'm in. I will probably wait for a sale of some sort like Christmas, so many books i want so little money . Mark, Might I add your post are

I will second and third whats already been mentioned. Probably the Best money I have spent outside a base Logos package. The "black" dictionaries are wonderful and though I just purchased I have already used them extensively in sermon preparation. I will agree with Mark's assessment they are more like essay's, not just simple definitions, which gives

  • indexing question

I just bought the IVP reference question and apparently it has not indexed. It indexed before it downloaded the new books but when you search for a common word like God it doesn't show any of the new books from a basic search; I even tried searching some of the headings (ex "Salvation by works" from John 5.28-29 Hard sayings of the Bible) and it comes

  • Re: The Possibility of a Book Review Wiki or Forum

Thanks for all the info. I am always fearful of posting because usually a great deal is found in the wiki that if i had been a tad bit more diligent i could have found. As far as posting and paragraphs i found that in Chrome i do not have all the options at the top of the message box but i am now in firefox 4 i see all the formatting options. So I think

I had resisted also, until the IVP Reference collection.......I thought I was going to make it without purchasing anything. To good a deal to pass up, I was going to pick up the disc set from a retailer but this was way to good to pass up... I was checking out the New Bible Commentary and love how some of the words are keyed to the dictionaries and

Let me ask a dumb question. How do you space between paragraphs? My orig. post had spaces so it was not a wall of text but when posted it came out with all the spaces removed? sorry to post so quickly after my first post and to already go off topic Thanks for the reply, I guessed i overlooked that on the wiki. Thanks for your help

  • The Possibility of a Book Review Wiki or Forum

Has anyone ever considered a forum, a post or someplace where user's can review Logos books? I find myself overwhelmed at the amount of titles that Logos offers and i am trying to get a plan together as to what to purchase. It would be of great help if those who have been exposed to wider assortment of books, or have a larger library to give recommendations

New to Logos 4 and i immensely enjoyed all of your videos. I love seeing how other preachers, study, make notes, do outlines and use bible programs to suit their needs. I learned alot from your videos and learned some thing to help streamline and make my study time and sermon preparation more efficient.

I was thinking that a RAM upgrade wouldn't hurt. I do run Windows 7 - 64 Bit. So I probably will bump it up when i raise the necessary funds. That what's a blessing; I took a leap of faith that I would like the program so i jumped in with the silver base package and now that i really do like it I want to go ahead and jump up to a higher package.
