John, it's enabled on my device.

This has happened to me the last couple of years. I was told I was not subscribed to the mailing list (even though I was pretty certain I had not unsubscribed). Since L8 was released, I have checked my email preferences daily. Every day, I have to resubscribe because every time I check, I get the message informing me I’m not subscribed. As a result

snappier
Indeed, that is the word to describe L8. I like the snappiness. I also like the new look--though some refinements are needed, and some UI functions from L7 need to be restored.
Now that I've had time to use L8 a bit, I'm generally pleased with the upgrade. It does seem snappier. The

Casey, you’re not alone. I still haven’t received that email.

Thanks, MB!

I still haven't received an email receipt from my purchase a few hours ago.

Same here, James. Exactly the same.

Thumbs up to what Dan Francis said.

I’m not claiming to speak for anyone but myself.

I have 6000 resources downloaded on my iPad and I’ve experienced ZERO problems.

I cannot help but wonder how this affects Bible software

I’m only speaking for myself. I know why they do it, cost-wise; but to me, this so-called perk for LN membership has next to no value at all. And really, that’s what I need to decide for myself: am I getting fair value for the cost of LN membership? In the beginning, it was a no-brainer; now, not so much.

I’m kind of disappointed, too. I just re-upped, but it may be the last time. And the monthly free book for LN members — well, I’d rather have one contemporary book I’ll use than 12 PD titles I’ll never use.

Same here, Francis.

N.T. Wright on Romans in the NIB is outstanding.

I double checked. "My Logos Messages" is what I have enabled.

Do you have Faithlife Notifications enabled on your Logos 7 home screen? That’s where I found the “gift” message.
