• Re: CP: Classic Commentaries and Studies on Job
It wouldn't. All your higher bids are bids for $40 as well and are already included in the count. What could be achieved is to make $40 the highest point on the curve, but still it would not move and stay below the treshold line, unless people up their bids to $40 or new bidders come along and bid $40 or more (such as the going

Maybe it's not supposed to be working any longer, now that L8 Basic has been released. The free B.B. Warfield book is also no longer available. https://www.logos.com/theology I've updated the wiki.
So no bug. Sometimes you get $10 off $50 sometimes is just $10 off any item on sale or not 👍😁👌
That's why I was always thinking it could be intended. Anyway, I never hid the fact that this feature (or bug) existed, and I occasionally made use of it, even in front of FL employees. Since I was never told off for it, I believed
This looks like an interesting book that's on sale and unfortunately because it's in the Faithlife eBooks store not available to international customers. Seems odd that it's not in Logos, but wouldn't be this price either. https://ebooks.faithlife.com/products/167202/johannine-theology-the-gospel-the-epistles-and-the-apocalypse
I think there are Facebook users who habitually report content that they object to for their own personal reasons, and it adds to the AI profile of what sort of stuff is objectionable.
That, plus a horde of SJW working in the appeals department.
Requesting a review is the most helpful thing because the "AI" isn't really all that smart. It needs to be trained, and requesting reviews are a huge part of that training. So it's the most helpful thing you could do for all of us.
In my experience, Google is much better with manual reviews. FB has never approved my banned

  • Re: Facebook Community Standards

I've had a few banned posts and comments recently, all of them with Christian or conservative content (not at all alt right). What I usually do, is take a screenshot of the ban, then post it back to my feed, to expose Facebook's bias. (My friend's husband recently got banned for 30 days for such an offense…) By now, I'm that paranoid that I take
Someone correct me if I am wrong here, but I thought the only advantage to studying Latin was to understand the Vulgate - which was fraught with translational problems - better (?). Reason I ask is because I am currently approx. 1/4 way through Hebrew I & am looking to pick up another Biblical language afterwards (currently

  • Re: Show Various Translations of the Same Passage?

It turned out it requires different verse formatting: Kol3,23 instead of Co3.23.
This doesn't make sense to me. Are you sure that it isn't just that you need the German equivalent to "milestone"?
There's no equivalent. We're on the metric system.
{Milestone <Co3.23>}
It is extremely frustrating that this type of command doesn't work in localized Logos versions. On a German Logos 8 installation, it produces exactly 0 matches. When I switch to English, a similar list like this one comes up.
It would not be removed if it was part of a Package. But it was a January preview resource for Connect subscribers, and consequently got removed in early February.
That theory actually doesn't hold, since I'm not a subscriber. I'm pretty sure it was added to L7 Basic.
No. You'll have continued access to them. You just don't have a perpetual license, and they don't count toward dynamic pricing.
Unfortunately, "President Edwards" was removed, only a few weeks after it had been added to L7 Basic. If it could be added back, that would really be awesome. [quote user="Kiyah
Or there's a way to see this in my faithlife site account?
I don't know. I only noticed that some resources are no longer in the Basic package, ant therefore no longer in my library (such as "President Edwards"). I do have a pre L8 Basic XML dump from my library, but it contains no license information
