• Re: Integrating L4 Notes into OS X and Apps with Linkbacks

Joe, Do you need to be able to link your notes in L4 to your entries in Endnote X? Or vice versa?

  • Integrating L4 Notes into OS X and Apps with Linkbacks

I am becoming more and more dependent upon L4 for all my Bible study needs. One thing that causes me a bit of pause is how to plan on handling notes in the Mac version. This wasn't a hard decision for me in L3 or L4 for Windows. Up till now I've used Devonthink with a folder structure built around books and chapters of the Bible. This has worked well

  • Feature Request: Improvements for Basic Search results view

Four small improvements for Basic Results view (besides the much requested Collapsible Results) that would save a huge amount of time for those who use L4 for academic writing . . . Include page numbers in the Basic Search results. I have enough context from the included excerpt or the popup on footnotes to make a decision on whether I need to cite

Another one I just realized I failed to include and just added: Pryor, John W. John, Evangelist of the Covenant People: The Narrative and Themes of the Fourth Gospel . Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity, 1992.

  • Why no Mounce Grammar or Morphology in Zondervan titles?

I am surprised that with the breakthrough deal with Zondervan two of their most helpful titles for Greek students are apparently not available. Of course that would be: Mounce, William D. Basics of Biblical Greek . Mounce, William D. The Morphology of Biblical Greek . His Greek for the Rest of Us would be helpful also. I would add them to the Requested
i might add Schnackenburg to that list. Actually, I would LOVE to get individual AYale titles. Like RE Brown on John. I wonder why publishers/logos deals don't often have that option.
Oops, good save, Dan. I just added Schackenburg and Ridderbos. Keener was already on there. They just broke the Yale Anchor Bible set

I've got a couple of different solutions for this issue than have been mentioned thus far (at least as far as I can tell from my quick glance at this thread, please forgive me if someone has already mentioned these and I missed it). Now that the Parallel resource icon allows switching between parallel resources within a tab, I think a better use of

Pretty awesome! Note to self: take web based alternative off of what Logos should do with $1-10 million list.

  • Only two volumes of Pillar commentaries are available on iPhone

Only two volumes of the Pillar commentary series are available on the iPhone app and library.logos.com for my account: Moo on Colossians, Philemon and Davids on 2 Peter, Jude I purchased Moo as an individual purchase but I assume the availability of Davids is due to my upgrade to Platinum. If that is the case, where is Carson on John, Morris on Matthew

δοξάζομαι does not appear as a lemma choice using either one but both of them will find it if you paste it in manually.
Agree on first part, but I can only find the lemma in LXX with GRAMCORD (25/25). Where do you find it?
Dave, You are right. I thought I had results using δοξάζομαι

Both the Logos and GRAMCORD morphology behave the same on this issue. δοξάζομαι does not appear as a lemma choice using either one but both of them will find it if you paste it in manually.
Technically I think page numbering is data, not metadata. But I agree that we need page numbers where they exist in print. Wherever you decide to create the list, put IVP's "Dictionary of the Later New Testament" in it! • Bug: No Lemma suggestion for δοξάζομαι in Morph Search

There is a suggestion entry for δοξάζω in the drop down suggestion menu for lemmas but not one for δοξάζομαι. δοξάζομαι occurs 25 times in the LXX but you wouldn't know that from searching for δοξάζω.

There have been a lot of really good marketing suggestions offered on this thread so far. Two of the better ones in my opinion: Cheaper entry packages - I'd probably aim at free, $29.99, $50, and $99 packages Work with Professors at Bible colleges and seminaries to provide bundles that are reduced for their classes In terms of investment, I think that

  • Indicator that shows total pages of a resource

The obvious strength of Logos is its ability to collect parts of resources into various arrangements relevant to a specific task. In the past, I have primarily purchased resources with that in mind (dictionaries, lexicons, commentaries, collections of sermons etc.). With these types of resources, my only concern for page numbers is when I need them
