  • Error in: The new Unger’s Bible handbook (Logos edition). Page 172: Intro to 1 Kings

The statement in italics (page 175) is incorrect. The Hebrew Bible does not use the terminology "third and fourth book of Kings." Can this be expedited to the publisher? Name and purpose: 1 and 2 Kings are called the third and fourth books of the Kingdoms in the Greek version and the third and fourth books of Kings in the Hebrew and the Latin.

I've been informed that this was addressed on the developer/programming; however, on the user end it still remains unfixed.

  • Hebrew New Testament (Logos 4).

This resource opens very slowly and also freezes a bit when navigating between verses and chapters (the MAC "beach ball" appears when navigating between chapters and verses in the table of contents). Since this is the only resource in my library that does this, it seems this might be a programming/compatibility issue.

  • Bug Hebrew New Testament downloaded yesterday. After relaunching, Hebrew font in all other library texts is disabled

I purchased the Hebrew New Testament (Israel Bible Society) for Logos 4 Mac yesterday evening. Upon relaunching and opening the Hebrew NT in my library, the text only shows as question marks. I also noticed that the Hebrew text in my BHS is now also disabled (it was fine prior to downloading the Hebrew NT) and only shows as question marks. Is there

I have to do a "Force Quit" as nothing will moves. This continues to happen even after yesterday's update. (I noticed it started after the March 4th update). But it is not predictable and it seems to happen with any resource--there doesn't seem to be a pattern. The freezing only occurs after the library is open for a few minutes. It doesn't happen all

  • Re: Error in Werkgroep Informatica BHS

Thank you, George. I think the intricacies of Hebrew make it difficult to report using the Report Typo, as it doesn't involve just the letters, but also the cantillation marks and nikuddot (vowel points) that surround the consonants. Even though the base consonants may be the same, the surrounding marks vary and have to be verified each instance (each

  • Re: Logos Progam Freezing After March 4 Update to Resources

It seems to a general --and is happening with many resources, although I first noticed it in the Finney library. Unfortunately no log is available. The freezing usually happens several minutes after the resource is opened, do you think that would occur if the indexing were incomplete?-

That sounds like the explanation. The Original Languages package comes with BHS and the WIVU Morphology (Werkgroep Informatica Vrije Universiteit Morphology). As far as I can tell from the Web site, the Original Languages package doesn't mention Westminster 4.4 morphology per se. (Quere and Quetiv are not technically morphology, so I'm not sure why
