• Re: How do I put Hebrew OT and Greek NT in the same window in Logos 4?

Hi Ronald, It is possible. What I do is opening three different types of resources. (Commentaries, English Bibles and OT). Then I open the Layouts button on the top-right side of the screen and select the 3 vertical windows. Then I open the NT. I don't know if you can tell logos in which window it should open a resource. But, when it opens in another
Logos also has the Apostolic Fathers interlinears by Lake, Holmes and Lightfoot
So what is the difference between these 3 interlinears and the forthcoming one? The pre-pub info says that there are links to Louw Nida. Does this mean there are no links to resources like BDAG, EDNT, WBC, etc?

What about a Discourse Grammar of the Hebrew Old Testament: A Practical Introduction for Teaching and Exegesis (and translation)? Would that be your next project?
Then can point mouse at Lemma (or Morphology) for small pop-up along bottom of panel.
Thanks! However, this helps only a little. The huge pop-ups disappear, but the small pop ups become less usefull. It is just repeating the lemma or giving only the morphology, not the combination of lemma & morphology.

  • Hovering over text in Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament

Hi, just wondering if anyone who is using the LDGNT knows a way to turn off the extra window that shows up when you hover over a word (I am not referring to the normal info that shows up in a Greek resource when you hover over text). I know that clicking the word would do it as long as you don't move your mouse. But that means you have to click on every

Thanks Dave, for your advice. However, since I didn't have time the past few weeks when I wasn't at home, I didn't do what you wrote. At home again, I started L4 again and for some reason the problem is solved! The Helpfile was downloaded and updated. Great!

    I really like the search capabilities of Logos, but now I made a search that is almost an A4! How do you like a Morph search like this? ἐ ν BEFORE 1-2 WORD τ ῷ BEFORE 1 WORD @V??N BEFORE 1 WORD @R??A OR ἐ ν BEFORE 1-2 WORD τ ῷ BEFORE 1 WORD @V??N BEFORE 1 WORD @DA OR ἐ ν BEFORE 1-2 WORD τ ῷ BEFORE 1 WORD @V??N BEFORE 1 WORD @JA OR ἐ ν BEFORE 1-2 WORD

  • Re: Can BDAG show up in the interlinear selections?

If you are reading BDAG, why not just start of with a Greek Text (or Greek Interlinear) and just double clicking the word? Then in another window you will see the selected word in BDAG.

Sorry, but it didn't work. Everything in these folders was empty. Still downloading the update everytime when I start L4. The good thing is that it is not a huge update.

Hi Melissa, It is indeed set to 'Yes'. Last night I downloaded 40% of a new update (320Meg). But because of the internet connection I couldn finish that (I am in Africa right now). It told me that resources are available for adding to library. I restarted L4 and this morning I saw the recent changes in the Homepage! So that problem seems to be solved

Hi Melissa, no proxiserver, as you already thought. I went to that folder, but it was already empty. When I started Logos again, I saw a new folder appearing in that folder (while logos downloaded the 203.8 update... But after a few seconds, it disappeared again.
