  • Re: Uninstalling Proclaim on a Mac

Proclaim is designed to ensure you're always running the latest version. Even if you install an older version, which I don't recommend, it should not allow you to run, but will immediately update itself. As a "cloud-enabled" application, the version of the client must match the version of the cloud services upon which it depends. Once the services have

  • Re: "Add item... Audio" missing

Audio is not supported yet. The current work-around is to create a video (perhaps with a blank screen or the lyrics) of the audio track. Make your voice heard at http://proclaim.uservoice.com/forums/137112-general to help raise the priority of this feature! --Todd

Are you using the same username/id which you use to log into the forums? Your single logos.com account should work wherever you go within Logos.

  • Re: Uninstalling Proclaim on a Mac

The download is free: you're welcome to keep the software on your machine. You can even test the "On Air" features, but all your slides will be watermarked with the Proclaim logo until you purchase an on-air license.

  • Re: Users on MAC cannot access proclaim

Paul, Thank you for getting back to me. I'm sorry our fix didn't work for you. It's hard to know what might be different between your machine and our test platform. Thanks for trying. We are planning to push out a release soon, possibly tomorrow, that should fix this issue. --Todd

  • Re: web remote

I believe that link should work fine for PC's too, using a webkit-based browser such as Safari or Google Chrome.

Development is under way to allow one to use local media in a presentation. I anticipate this feature will be released in the near future.

  • Re: Adding a bottom border

Hi Christina, What you're asking is possible with a little effort. You need to do two things: 1. Either use a black background or upload a custom background. If you have an example slide in powerpoint, export a blank (no text) slide as a jpg and then upload it into Proclaim to use as a background. Or you could build a custom background in the paint

  • Re: No Linux version?

Being a long-time Linux user at home, I can sympathize with your position. Unfortunately, I don't think the economics involved are likely to make a Linux version viable in the foreseeable future. Probably the best we could hope for would be a web-based client someday. Please feel free to make your suggestion at http://proclaim.uservoice.com/ .

  • Re: Stage Display option and formating

Each service item contains a "Notes" editor. In a forthcoming iPad application (currently being tested: it looks very nice), those notes can be displayed alongside the current slide as the application tracks along with (or even controls) the presentation. While not specifically designed for live communication, they are designed to help the presenter

  • Re: Preview text has become blurred

Tim, Thanks for the report.Your image (for others reading this thread): The fuzzy images you are seeing area result of our efforts to get a handle on memory usage in response to some crashes with very large presentations. Part of our intermediate solution is to use thumbnails for the timeline. Thumbnails are nice and small in memory but, as you have

  • Re: Groups

As long as each user has his own account (they can all be added to your church's group for free), you shouldn't have to worry about purchases being made. Purchases made are usable by the entire group, but the purchasing information (e.g., credit card number) is accessible only to the specific user who entered it. Encourage each user to register for

  • Re: Can not edit text size for songs

Another factor impacting text size is how long the lines are. Proclaim doesn't want to break the lines where you didn't break them. Proclaim doesn't want to use different font sizes within the same song: that would be distracting. Therefore, the size of the font used in each song is limited to whatever font will allow the longest line to fit. If you

  • Re: Click Through as in PowerPoint

Pieter, You should see an "Order of Service" panel at the left of the screen in Proclaim: Notice the differently colored horizontal separators. These are the key to your question. Only the items under the green "Service" divider are intended to allow manual control (usually via the arrow keys on the keyboard or else by clicking on the arrows beside

  • Re: Uninformative Video Store

Hi Mike, That's a good thought. I know the designers have been working hard to balance clutter vs. necessary details. This is likely one of those grey areas. You might want to make a request on Uservoice. This issue pertains mostly to user-uploaded videos (in the "My Content" section). While the default thumbnail from uploaded videos is just the first

  • Re: Countdown size and location

Chris, The built-in countdown is pretty basic, intended to be useful with a wide variety of slides. However, there are some much prettier countdown videos (usually for 5 minutes) already available in the store. These, possibly along with the clever placement of some additional slides in the Warm-Up section of your service, might allow you to provide

  • Re: BUG: Cannot Upload Video Files Greater Than 10MB

Daniel, Thanks for your patience. I was able to reproduce the symptoms you had. A fix for that should be coming out this week. The problem I found turned out to be related to the file type rather than to the file size. Would it happen to be the case that the files you tried which were under 10mb and uploaded successfully were of a different type than

  • Re: Unable to create a group?

Chris, Thanks for the report. The problem is that there already exists an Immanuel Baptist Church. Actually, I count three others in our system at present. :-) Normally you should be allowed to make a new group with the same name. This is being worked on even now: hopefully a fix will ship soon. I apologize for the inconvenience. Feel free to use another
