  • Re: Countdown Timer

Brian, I just committed a fix for this. Thank you for noticing that lack of margin. I'm not sure if this fix will go out in tomorrow's build or in another week or two, but it should be on its way before too long.

The menus have been fixed for the HiDPI display. Expect to see the fix in the next release of Proclaim. Thanks for reporting this!

  • Re: Underlining

Underlining is available in the content view, though there is no button for it. Highlight the text you wish to underline and hit "Command-u" on the Mac or "Control-u" on Windows. I believe the appearance of the italics glyphs is dependent upon the font chosen. You might look for a different font with a more pronounced italicization: Select the "Customize

  • Issues in Proclaim 1.5 for Mac 10.5

Early today we released a new build of Proclaim 1.05 to bring PowerPoint import to the Mac. This new version lacked a piece required to run on Mac 10.5 so that it refused to start. This issue has been fixed in 1.05, build 12, available immediately. If you tried to update Proclaim this morning and have found that now it will not start, please remove

  • Re: Countdown size and location

Chris, The built-in countdown is pretty basic, intended to be useful with a wide variety of slides. However, there are some much prettier countdown videos (usually for 5 minutes) already available in the store. These, possibly along with the clever placement of some additional slides in the Warm-Up section of your service, might allow you to provide

  • Re: Web Page Items and Full Screen Video

The YouTube logo is the favicon from the Youtube site. That's all you'll see under edit and preview. When you go on-air, the actual website will load in your on-air window only. I believe this was done for several reasons. The main one was to avoid having to choose whether to 1) show possibly out-of-date content in the preview/edit screens when not

  • Re: Activation Code

That's not right. It sounds like you did exactly the right thing. Our groups services have been under heavy construction as they get rolled out not only for Proclaim but for the new Faithlife Study Bible and site . I just tried the procedure you describe and it worked today. Please let me know if you continue to have difficulty adding your new user

  • Re: Activation Code

Hey John, An activation code (for an on-air license) is per-group. Once your new user has a logos.com account (one can sign up either from Proclaim or from logos.com), you can send an invite to that account by going to Account -> Set up groups... -> Manage Groups. Select the group in question and you will be taken to a screen where you can enter the

  • Re: Setting Up Groups

An on-air license applies only to the group for which it was purchased. Multiple groups would require multiple licenses.

  • Re: Uninstalling Proclaim on a Mac

Hello Hans, I'm curious what part of "the On Air version" doesn't serve you well. We would love to know what you find to be lacking in Proclaim. I'm also curious why the "drop in the trashcan" method doesn't work to uninstall Proclaim. Was Proclaim installed as a different user so that you lack the permissions to uninstall it? The only other data Proclaim

  • Re: DISPLAY ISSUES WITH MAC

Donald, I'm not entirely sure I understand your question, but I'll give it a go. It sounds like your display computer is a Mac and your audience display(s) are currently set to a resolution of 1024x764. Presently Proclaim's full-screen display places black border around each slide because they don't fill your monitors perfectly. You would prefer the

  • Re: ACTIVE CODE

  • Re: Delete, Undo, Confirmation or Cancel in Customize Section

Two features might be helpful here. One, you can duplicate slides by right clicking on them in the order of service. If you're about to experiment with one, duplicate it first so you can delete the altered one if you don't like it or the original one if you do. Secondly, the Recently Used section of the Add Items dialog should always contain your recently

If you bought your on-air license through the application, it should be applied automatically. You can check by going to the Account menu and selecting "Purchase on-air license..." On the purchase screen, your current license expiration date should reflect your purchased license. If you see an expiration date that reflects your purchase you should be

  • Re: How do I run a powerpoint ppt or pptx file in Proclaim?

Powerpoint support for Mac is a work in progress, getting all our ducks in a row. Keynote support is a planned feature but at this time there is no estimate of when it will be implemented. Feel free to vote for it on Proclaim UserVoice .

  • Re: Display Problems

Steven, Welcome to the forums! Proclaim tries to position the on-air window and the control window on different monitors. If one of them is on the edge of a screen, Proclaim might not be able to tell on which screen it's supposed to be. The standard procedure for positioning the windows is: Ensure that your external display (projector) is connected

I'm sorry Proclaim isn't working perfectly for you yet: that certainly is our goal! Proclaim is still a pretty new product and continues to evolve rapidly. Even our (excellent!) customer service/tech support staff are still learning it. The forums are indeed the best place to find support for issues you might be facing: the developers read and respond
