• Bug: Notes in 4.0c Beta 3

It seems like typing in notes in Beta 3 has gotten very jumpy. There seems to be more delays in the typing. I don't think I have suddenly gotten faster on the keyboard. Has anyone else noticed this?

I liked the sermon add-in L3 too. The illustrations in the PG issue I was able to work around by creating an "illustrations" collection and then including that as an element in my custom passage guide. Try that and see how it works for you.

Try spelling it "Ascension". I returned a large number of hits in my library, including the image your referred to in vol 10 of The Bible and It's Story.

can't speak for the poor rabbit that got this started. Thank goodness he was resurrected!
Unless he continued stopping to wave in the middle of the highway and was hit by an 18-wheeler.
Ouch! I hate it when that happens.
I had a very bad day yesterday and this silly little thread (and the Zondervan rollout) made my day happier.
The pastor friend of mine who sent this to me kind of made my day a little better too. He likes to remind people that God deeply loves and fully accepts all His children, even when we don't heed Phil. 4:4

Are you saying it is not necessary to merge the supplemental indexes with the primary index file?
Yes!! The supplemental index is GOOD as it prevents rebuilding the whole index with each download. Take advantage of it and let the Indexer decide what to do after you download resources. Note

Does anyone know if it is now safe to run the "merge indexes" command?
It was never safe to run that command even when it did mean merge (or imply something faster than a rebuild)! Example: You decide to "merge" when you have a supplementary index with 5 resources. That takes 20 minutes

  • Merge Index in 4.0c Beta 2

I downloaded some new resources yesterday and I am getting the message when I do searches that they have not been merged into the main index. I thought I read something in the previous Beta that concluded there was a problem with the "merge indexes" command. Does anyone know if it is now safe to run the "merge indexes" command?
scroll so note you wish is under the title and click compact view and it opens whichever note is at the top of view
Dominic, I may have misunderstood your statement, but the feature in 4.0c Beta 2 will collapse all notes in a note file or expand all notes in a note file. I have not been able to make it expand only one
