If there are dogs in heaven I hope they stay off the golf course and don't need to go outside when the football game is on.
Think community pricing is overrated? George Muller will be Pre-Pubbing at $79.95 and selling for $129.99. Community pricing bidders...15 bucks.
Yep. I got in on that one too.

  • Re: Question on Passage Guide

I recently finished reading a great book that deals with the issue of Genre as it relates to interpretation of the bible called "How to Read the Bible for All It's Worth." I bought the paperback edition from Amazon and then ordered the Logos version on pre-pub. It is scheduled to be released by logos sometime this week. It's a great book and will serve

  • Re: Sort Notes by Reference?

In playing with this in order to provide a screen shot, I discovered that the sort function only works for those references that been added as a bible reference. In the first screen shot I manually entered these verse references in the title of each note. The sort feature will not sort them, even though the system recognizes them as a hyperlink to that

  • Re: How's 4.0c beta 2
I have not seen much comment on 4.0c beta 2, is that because it's Easter weekend and people aren't using it too much yet, or is it pretty stable? How does it look?
There was not much in the way of new features; it was mostly bug fixes. There are some additional bugs that have been identified. Sorting in notes is

  • Re: 4.0c Beta 2 crashes when turning references into links
In notes, whenever I type a space after a Biblical reference - eg. Ps 57:4 , the reference turns into a hyperlink. But if I enclose the reference in brackets - e.g. ( Ps 57.4 ), the reference no longer automatically turns into a hyperlink. When I place the cursor between the end of the reference and the close bracket and
Everybody attach your indexer logs so a pattern can be demonstrated.
Attached is my Index log 7317.Logos4Indexer.log I am far from an expert at reading these things, but it appears that the indexer is going through a house cleaning process every time the program starts. I don't know if this is good or bad. I guess

  • BUG: 4.0c Beta 2 - Maybe

I noticed that each time I start L4 the Logos icon appears in the system tray with the indexing library message calculating time remaining. After a couple of seconds it goes away and the program starts normally. I did not notice this happening with Beta 1 and it does not happen with the stable release 4.0b on my netbook. Not sure if this is a bug or

I could not find that as an alternate rendering of that verse in any of my bibles. I will immediately report that as a bug and hopefully they can fix it in the next
