• Can you search for highlighting?

In L3 one used to be able to find highlighted text in a document. Does anyone know if one can do that in L4? Jarred

  • Re: Opening Commentaries - Is it Slower Now?

Yes, 4.0b takes a long time on my machine to switch commentaries. I called Logos about it and after some time they discovered some errors in the log when switching between commentaries. They are supposed to get back with me about it. You're fortunate it is only 20 seconds. I was taking 45 seconds, but it seems now to be a little shorter. With 4.0a,

Never mind, I starting playing around resizing the window and the top jumped down enough to grab and reposition it.

  • OK, So how do I fix this?

I opened L4 today and was greeted by this screen. I have no idea how to move the window down because I can't access the top border. Any ideas?

  • Re: Rebuilding Logos.com: Give Us Your Ideas

OK, First I must confess that I didn't take time to read every reply, but as a student, I would like the list of books on the academic page to become searchable, here: www.logos.com/academic/discount/program/products/1

I don't know of a way, but I assume that this link: http://www.logos.com/4/missingfeatures tells us that the feature is coming soon. I have a huge pile of notes to transfer also.

  • Re: Why the Typing Lag?

That is something that I would be interested in. Some days I havea typing lag in my notes and some days I do not, and I cannot figure out what is different from day to day since I almost always have the same programs open.
I was thinking of staring a onenote thread and have everyone who uses it share their best ideas and practices, but I think that is against the rules now a days.
I would be interested to see how other guys use OneNote, notonly in L4 Bible study, but also ministry in general.

Funny there should be a post about OneNote 2010 here. I was exploring a trial version of OneNote over the weekend and got to thinking that this could be a powerful mnistry tool. Would you guys say that it is worth the price to go ahead and buy OneNote? Or would I be wasting my money? I'm thinking that there's lot's of promise with OneNote.

  • Re: Untitled notes

When you open the file menu, it will list the names of your note files. Click on any note file to open it. Beside the title "untitled note" is a pencil. If you click the pencil, you can rename the note file.

I have also had L4 lock-up after trying to cut and paste a section of text from a note. Has anyone had this problem?

  • I don't know if this is a bug? Can you replicate this?

I have something strange going on with my lexicons. If I prioritize my lexicons so that the Analytical Lexicon of the Greek New Testament (ANLEX) is first, then when I keylink a word and the lexicon opens I cannot scroll through my lexicons with the right arrow. However, if I set another lexicon first: say the Exegetical Dictionary of the New Testament

Luuk that was a good post. I used to be the "IT" guy on the pastoral staff of a larger church. I was still a pastor with many responsibilities, but my time was being burned up by people on staff who defaulted to calling me instead of clicking on the help files. I got to where I would say, "Did you click on help?" When they said, "no," I would say,

  • Re: Notes Suggestions

I agree. The L3 notes were nice in that there was a contents pain on the left. It would be nice to either have the content pain back or have collapsible notes.

Because my L4 has crashed twice today and I haven't made any changes to my system.

Has anyone noticed that David Paul has been silent since airing his frustration? No "thank you's" or anything that I am aware of. He must have completely gotten off the L4 wagon. I hope he sticks it out. I love L4!

  • What are these lines?

I was reading a resource today and decided to right click on it to see what menu came up. Afterwords, my scroll bar has lines in it and there is a dot on the page. Does anyone know what this is, and how I can use it? Here is a picture: Jarred Edgecombe
