All my linked resources are on 3.10, for example, because my target reference is 3:10. However, I am looking at 3.11 since 3.10 already rolled out of sight.
This definitely needs work....

I keep reading this topic as "Pre-nup" and and wonder if Bob thinks of the launch of L4 as a wedding or anniversary? He is definitely wedded to the enterprise and there seems little likelihood of a separation. Chris
You're very clear Rick. The current setup is blessing and curse. It's great to have all those tools open with a bible reading plan. But sometimes you don't want that. There's no way to change it but you can circumvent it. On the Ribbon you can see that today's reading starts in Romans 5:1 so just go to the commandbar and

Thou shalt not covet thine instructor's computer. On the other hand, he shouldn't make us coveteous, so it really is his fault.
Should I assume I don't have an option for the Lectionary on the home page because I downloaded the engine and did not upgrade?
If, when you search your library you find a lectionary, I think it should be on the "Ribbon." If not, try making a Reading plan of it and set it for a weekly reading. That should get it
Does Update Now only update the software or does it also check for updated resources? In other words, if automatic updates is off, should one run both commands periodically? If you have automatic update on, does it automatically check for both software and resource updates or is it still important to run Update Resources periodically

I see this in, for example, Mal. 1:3 with שים I would not call it misleading with the lexicon's listed right below and the popup showing the lexical form, but not-standard, yes. Chris

  • Re: GHRIS - Septuagint

I agree. I've tried a few things, like creating a custom template, making repeated changes - to see if the guide will "learn" my preference - closing it with GHRIS open and then re-opening it and I have to agree that this default can't be changed. I would think that it either in a custom guide the default would be selectable, or it would re-open/refresh
Like any other guide it is controlled with resource prioritisation and if you prioritise the Septuagint with Logos Morphology ahead of your English reverse interlinears then GHRIS will be the default word-for-word option in your exegetical guide.
I really enjoy the way the new home page displays passages and neat Bible tid-bits. At first I wasn't a big fan of the way it was set up, but it really does help you get to know some otherwise unknown resources in a way 3.0 could not do. That said...
