  • Re: Sync arrows

Thanks again for the reply. While in Logos, I can go online. There does not seem to be a problem there. As far as I know, the program might be syncing, but not indicating it with the arrows twirling. Since I have had this program, I have not had any problems that prevented me from using it-so far. I have not had any need to use every function it has

Thanks for the reply. I do appreciate it. My settings for online usage is set to "yes." I am working in Windows 7. My logos is updated to 4.6B SR3. I was just wondering if any of the recent updates may have changed the sync method? Thanks for your time. Dan

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. I am currently working with 4.6B SR3--Windows 7. In the past I have had no problems with Windows 7 working in Logos 4. The arrows have been there since a little over a year ago, this is the first that they have disappeared. My internet is set correctly in the settings area, it's marked "yes" for Internet usage

  • Sync arrows

The last few times that I have opened Logos 4, I have noticed that the sync arrows that twirl, which are located next to the layout on the tool bar, haven't been showing. It's like they have been removed from the tool bar? Does anyone know if they have been removed? If they have been removed, how does one know if they are syncing with the mother ship

  • Re: Text Comparison

Thanks for the reply, I apreciate it. Here's what I havve done since you answered: I typed in HCSB, NIV84. As soon as I got done, it changed to LEB, ESV and NIV84. I then tried my second best: ESV, NIV84, but it changed to LEB, ESC, NIV84. It keeps adding the LEB? I tried going through my collections and changing the Bibles in my collections to ESV

  • Text Comparison

When text comparison starts, it seems to have 5-6 Bibles to compare from. I only have three that I want to use for comparison. Question: How do I reduce the number of Bibles to show in text comparison in settings, and which Bibles to use for text comparison? Are there any settings? In advance, thanks for your help. • Re: Hyperlink question.

Thanks for the reply Kevin. You got the question just fine. Now I'll have an idea on linking with Logos. Picking up the syntax shouldn't be hard. Occasionally, I reach-out on blogs, and it would be nice to get a handle on this linking. Thanks again for taking the time to explain this procedure to me. Christ be with you. Dan

  • Hyperlink question.

I recently asked support about hyper-linking from within Logos 4. They referred me to the training videos on Logos. Once there, I didn't see anything as to what I wanted to know. I am currently working with Logos 4 Bible Study. What I wanted to know: is it possible to write a commentary, and hyper-link verses from within the program WITHOUT going on

The metal plates seem to be infested with rust. Do you think they will be able to recover any writings from the damage of the rust? In God we trust. Dan

  • The "count" is off?

While familiarizing myself with "The Complete Word Study Bible," I discovered what I believe to be a mistake in "count?" See copied "note" example below: "72. The Pronoun is used in place of a noun. In Greek, there are eight categories of pronouns: the Demonstrative Pronoun (32), the Emphatic Personal Pronoun (34), the Indefinite Pronoun (48), the Interrogative

  • Re: Nook or Kindle

I have the older Nook e-ink. I chose it over the color back-lit Nook. It seems that I can read hours longer on the e-ink due to no stress on the eyes. I only last a few hours on my laptop's back-lit screen. Personally, I feel that if your into some good reading for longer hours, the e-ink is the way to go. I like the older version Nook e-ink over the
