In the Faithlife app, I can tap on the Bible title at the top and choose another translation. I like this function! It would be nice to be able to do this for Bible resources in the Logos Bible app as well. I realize this is likely due to Faithlife having the top pane set aside for bibles. But if the panel's resource is of type bible, could the Bible

Thank you for your work on the forum, Joel! 1 Cor. 15:58

When I go to my bio page, the Forum Activity section is blank. I was hoping to quickly find posts I made to check for responses. Is there a setting I am missing so I can see my activity?

Over the weekend, when I used the backspace key multiple times, it would jump to a previous hyperlinked text in the paragraph, and backspace from there. e.g. Here was a paragraph I typed: 1. Read Psalm 40. Not only are the wonders innumerable, but what else makes the wonders so wonderful? Reread Psalm 40:5 and pay attention to the second line. Who is

Seems to be fixed for me today. sorry I didn't respond earlier. Not getting emails to prompt me.

This remote is more responsive, about 1 second lag time from 'tap' to the change on the projection screen. Looking forward to local WiFi to speed that up even more. dragging down from the top of the presentation selection screen does refresh the list. Slide sizes are much smaller than the old phone version of the remote. Need to be bigger in order to

Is it reindexing the whole library instead of just adding new resources when I only add a new book or two?
-
Sorry, didn't get back to this as I was waiting for email... glad that is being worked on! Yes, I am still experiencing this consistently. Using Chrome in Windows 7. Faithlife is open in one tab, Logos.com is open in another. Of Course, Chrome does sandbox the tabs... Maybe IE would work with faithlife.com open in another tab?

Toby, With email not working I tried to review posts I made to check responses by looking at my forum activity. However my activity is not appearing when I click the link. I checked some other users. Graham Kiddle has his activity listed. Dave Hooten does not. Is there a setting somewhere I am missing?
-
Thank you, Graham! I have email responses clicked, but didn't get anything, and just missed the old post as I browsed the topics. Assumed I forgot to post it.

This was a bug in the previous beta which I thought I posted, but cannot find. So, here it is. While typing in a Note, the panel fails to scroll when I get to the bottom of the panel. The insertion point goes out of view. I have to manually scroll the panel with the mouse to see what I am typing. If you use the arrow keys to move the insertion point

5.3 Beta 1 (5.3.0.1128) Windows I opened a clipping I had made which came up in a search I was doing for "apostasy" I wanted to quickly locate where the reference to "apostasy" was in the Clipping, so I opened the Find bar and typed apostasy. It did not do anything. No search, no highlight of the result as typically happens in other windows.

Hi Toby!
The temporary workaround is to also sign in to Faithlife.com. If you sign into Faithlife.com, you should not experience the jumping problem.
Thank you for the response. However, in Chrome I had a tab open to faithlife.com and signed in. Another tab open to logos.com and signed in. Still jumped to the bottom

Using Chrome in Windows 7. When I go to Logos.com pages and try to view products that page keeps jumping to the bottom of the page. I scroll up, or page up and it jumps back to the bottom again. At the bottom of the page messages keep popping up one after another in continuous loop: Waiting for faithlife.com... Waiting for accountsapi.logos.com... Waiting

I look forward to the indexing performance increase. However, it seems to me that the indexing is slower since I went to this beta from the last stable release. Indexing used to go pretty quickly with my ssd. Now, it seems to crawl. the longer results Dave saw increase proportionately with more resources.

Just want to say thank you for the app to use my resources and the guides for study! You are doing a great job, and I cannot wait for the improvements that are coming down the pike. On a side note, I am amazed at how small the app's footprint is on my storage: 1341 resources, 5.83 GB All of my favorite resources available wherever I am, offline! Thanks

AFAIK there is no easy way out. What you are looking for comes from a basic understanding of the languages, which you then apply as you study the text in context. For instance, Rom. 6:1, 'go on' or 'continue' is ἐπιμένω present, active, subjunctive (you mentioned "future, active, indicative..., I believe that is the verb for 'say'). The subjunctive

In Logos, click on Tools, and select Information. Click on a word in the bible you are reading. In the information pane, you will see the morphology listed. hover the mouse over the morphology tag you want to know, and read the definition from the Glossary of Morpho-Syntactic Database

Louw-Nida, Greek-English Lexicon does not get into morphology as much as area-of-meaning for each word. Are you looking for meanings of the words , or explanations of the morphology/morphological tags ? If you are looking for resources for meanings (lexicons), I would recommend The Complete Word Study Dictionary: Old Testament, and The Complete Word
