Nice! Thanks for sharing this! I picked up Exodus and Ezekiel as those two are rated quite highly: https://www.bestcommentaries.com/topseries/
The one on Esther is also excellent. When I went through Esther a couple of years ago, this was the most helpful of all the commentaries I have. https://www.logos.com/product

  • Re: Smart Tags stop working LogosCom.exe moved/deleted
You shouldn't have a Pending folder if the software updated succesfully i.e. if you restarted Logos when notified. Restarting Logos or the computer should update Logos, remove the Pending folder and LogosCom.exe will be in the \System folder. Alternatively, do a Repair from Control Panel >> Programs and Features. • Smart Tags stop working LogosCom.exe moved/delted

Yesterday I noticed that SmartTags stopped working. In trying to get it to work using the script provided, I got the error message "LogosCom.exe not found" and gave the location where it was supposed to be (.../%AppData%/Logos/System). Eventually I found the file in the Pending folder. I copied it to the System file and all worked. This morning SmartTags
I am interested in studies how different generations receive Truth or think about Truth. What resources would help with that?
This is a very interesting question, and not only from the perspective of epistemology (which is how we western moderns have tended to categorize truth). I find it interesting to me as I am preaching
I would very much like to get rid of them as well.
Please don't. The Hermeneia series is based on the NRSV, and it's helpful to have quick access to the NRSV text when looking at this series. The asterisks are small an mostly unobtrusive, plus once you know what they are, they're easy to ignore when you're reading
Is there a known step by step system of study for using Logos 7 when preparing expository sermons?
Not within Logos, as far as I know. However, the methodology for you or me would be the same as for using print books. In fact, if Logos had one, I'm not sure it would match what I'd want anyway. If you learned a method
Too bad Zondervan has taken this route....
This was not Zondervan's decision (not that I'm a fan, or opponent, of Zondervan). The issue is with the holder of the NIV copyright which is Biblica . Biblica licenses the right to print the NIV to Zondervan. I'm quite sure Zondervan would gladly publish the NIV84, as I'm
my lexham bible in logos 7 is displaying the interlinear but I don't recall how to toggle off and on. I have tried the two buttons displayed in your post but I don't return to text without interlinear. If I click on the right hand one I just get more interlinear rather than just text. Can you help me with this? I am using
...how would you start to research the broader question of "Why?"
Why questions are difficult in part because they are ambiguous. For example, are you asking about the purpose of Jesus' birth, or about Jesus' motivation, or something else? In other words, are you asking about the intended result, or impetus? Why questions

I'm with Francis on this. (Where's the "like" button?!) I'd also say that a great resources for application is the folks in the pews. Many of them are already living the truths we preachers preach about. How do they do it? What do they do? But I'd also like to challenge to ponder the question: "What is application?" For some it means that you need to

It will be a huge project and I know me I’ll want to add every theological term in existence to it, not just the Bible. So there goes more time... I want to thank you
