have 2 questions: 1) I have a CD called "The Complete Works of Alexander Maclaren" as free bible software and on the cover is the E4 group and I am trying to install into Quick Verse as that is the platform I use to downlead and open all my books. Are they still going? Also the CD seems to not be able to install and does not

I don't see mine on my home page either. (?) I wonder if it's a leap day thing, either on Logos' end, or because your devotional doesn't have an entry for Feb 29 (just a guess). If you know the name of the devotional you've been using, you can still open it from the Library. If you're not sure about the exact title, select the "Calendar Devotional"

There's been a lot of ink spilled on this topic, but I'd suggest dialing it down to the summaries of the arguments you can find in some systematic theologies. It would be under the general heading of anthropology or doctrine of man. Louis Berkhof's Systematic Theology discusses this on pp.191,ff (Part Two...; II.A.). Guy Duffield's Foundations of Pentecostal
I can't replicate this as I get a drop down to select one of three options from .. the reasonable selection takes me to the correct position. Can anyone else duplicate this behavior?
I know about the drop down list. I (too?) often have to type in the verse a second time to get it. Expected workflow would be that if
Number One priority needs to be securing the rights to the “Fire Bible”, the best Pentecostal Study Bible around. I’ve been begging Bob and anyone else at Faithlife willing to listen that this is an essential resource for about a decade now. Still waiting for it.
Make sure you talk to the publishers
Check out the free/greatly discounted Christian Standard Bible resources this month https://www.logos.com/free-book-of-the-month Thank you Faithlife!
My question is, given that the Babylonian Talmud wasn't compiled until at least 475CE, how certain can we be that the view of shepherds in Sanh 25b is reflective of the views of those living in and around Bethlehem at the time of the angels' visitation?
From the Zondervan Illustrated Bible Background Commentary
If anyone else has read the NET Bible with the notes I'd be interested in hearing your evaluation.
I've not read it cover to cover. But I do look at it often, especially when I have translation questions . I can't say that I always agree with their translation choices, or their explanations, but I most often do. I

In the meantime: Not sure if you're on Windows or Mac, but in Windows (at least) you left click on the meme and it opens in the main Logos page as "Media." If you save the meme to disk, you can then upload that to Facebook. There is a downside, : it resets your main page to two columns (I normally have three -- AAARRRRGGG!). You can quickly get that
Huh?? Buddhists, whether Hinayana or Mahayana, deny the permanence of any entity including substance. There is no permanent "us" to be morphous or amorphous, recognized or not.
Yeah. That was my point. Perhaps an exaggerated restatement of the original issue of being non-recognizable entities, but a similar denial of
That did it. Thanks! As regards
Yep, I got stuck on one this morning too (THMTTHWNCRNCRTR). Had to remove from the Downloaded folder to fix: .\Logos\Data\xxxxxxxx.xxx\ResourceManager\Downloaded\
Do you mean remove everything in the "...\Downloaded\" folder (I have 467 folders in it)?
Am I doing something wrong? Should I try and reinstall Smart Tags? If so, where do I download it now?
Look at this Wiki page for the answers to how to use and install smart tags: https://wiki.logos.com/Smart_Tags There's a link there to fixing Smart Tags using PowerShell (assumes a Windows OS), as well as some trouble
It was especially helpful for a paragraph listing of verses that won't easily paste into the Copy Bible Verses box, for example: 1 John 1:1-4 Ephesians 3:14-21 Ephesians 2:4-7
Smart Tags do work with Logos 8, but it will only do one passage at a time (just tried your examples).
John by Brown.
Actually, although this is an often cited commentary, the one by Carson in Pillar Commentary series, and the one by Ramsey in NICNT are much better.
Seriously Logos, is this really the best you could come up with for a possible answer to what is eschatology?
Well, as a matter of fact, the study of animal droppings is called "scatology," so it does fit.
