• Re: Lexham Bible Guide: Ephesians

Dear Logos: I am a busy pastor, and presumably part of the target audience for the Lexham Bible Guides. However, I am returning my Genesis 1-11 and cancelling my pending pre-orders for Jonah, Ruth, and the Letters of Paul, for three reasons: 1) Though I have spent tens of thousands of dollars and have a library of 7,944 resources, the majority of links
When full screen mode is used I would just like the map and nothing else. As a Pastor when presenting a biblical location on the screen it is helpful only to have the map itself and nothing else. Anyone else agree?
John, I wholeheartedly agree with you in all points on this. Please give us the flexibility.

  • SUGGESTION: Red Letter Old Testament

An open suggestion to Bob Pritchett and the Logos Forums. Thank You for taking time to consider this idea. I have a Red Letter Bible that has all of the words of God in red (both OT & NT). It makes it easy to distinguish God speaking to Moses vs. Moses speaking to the children of Israel. When the Angel of the Lord speaks, the words are in red. When

Mark, I was just as confused as you were a couple of weeks ago. Logos has not done a good job of explaining themselves to their loyal customers. To answer your question, I paid to upgrade to the Logos 5 Silver, and then I paid another small fee to add the Biblical Senses Lexicon (which is a very good tool). But by so doing, I added more than a 100 new

  • The Great Downgrade Controversy

Wikipedia reports that the great Downgrade controversy began with Charles Spurgeon's first "Down-grade" article, published in The Sword & the Trowel in 1887. Spurgeon maintained that his brethren within the Baptist Union had effectively "down-graded" the Word of God as such heresies as the Graf-Wellhausen hypothesis, Charles Darwin's theory of evolution

Pride or no pride, emotional or not, here is a legitimate question (hypothetically speaking, of course). I upgraded from Gold to Portfolio when L4 came out. I have since spent thousands of dollars on additional resources. Now I can't afford a Portfolio to Portfolio upgrade, so I jump to a L5 Starter Pack. I still have all of my resources, only my status

Our Church takes its computer to summer camp for two weeks every July. There is no internet connection in the mountains, no cell service, not even carrier pigeon It is truly wonderful! However, when it comes to using technology for presentation, it is a bit restrictive. We currently use an open source presentation program and Power Point. I would love

I'm in at $51 (bid on Nov. 3, 2011). How did that happen? What I have noticed, but do not understand, is how on so many pre-pubs I have bid what it was expected to go for, but now I am way too low. It seems that the costs go up considerably from the first time they are listed.
