Thanks for the replies. I do not have a "speaker labels" option in my visual filter dropdown box. . I have the "131 Christians everyone should know resource" that Graham suggested, and I do not have a "Timeline Event" visual filter option in my menu.

How do you incorporate Logos into your Bible study routine? This question is primarly geared towards people that aren't pastors or seminary students. One of the things I am working on in my spiritual life is spending time daily in the Word. If I had to give my self a grade on how I've done in the last few years it would be an F. I have a modest Logos

Are you sure you don't already own it?
-
Thanks for the response. You are right that I didn't tale the set discount into account for my example question. Is the dynamic pricing based on the % of content you alread own or the price you actually paid for the content you own? Example: 4 volume set - each volume individually priced at $25. Set price is $90. Case 1: I buy vol 1 for $25. i own 25
As far as I know, Logos hasn't revealed the formula. But for this set, you could test yourself. Buy the commentary you're interested in and try it out for 30 days. I that trial window, you'll be able to see what your dynamic price for the set would be. If you're happy with the results, keep the commentary. If you realize

Did this ever get resolved? I am trying to learn how to start using notes and highlights and experienced this exact issue when attempting to take a few notes using the "Resource-specific Note Document" setting on my iPhone.

I'm interested in the atlas. The resource I already own that I believe looks the closest to the Zondervan Atlas is the the Holman Bible Atlas. Does anyone have both that can comment on the value of adding the Zondervan Atlas to my collection.

I am very interested in this topic as well.

My question is whether you have this option for highlights?
No you can't do this I'm afraid A highlight is stored as a "note by selection" and is, therefore, only available in the specific book in which you make the highlight.
Thanks for the response.
"But I passed up purchasing the feature set, and now I'll lose it if I don't double my monthly subscription cost!" We have tried to address every case of this through credits to help you purchase the feature set, and thus lock in the new features even if you cease subscribing. It was our intention that every Logos Now user

For example, when I generate a passage guide for a verse in John, I get a listing of several commentaries from my library. One result is “The Gospel According to John” but I would rather see “NICNT - The Gospel According to John”. Another result in my list is ”John” but I would rather see ”Zondervan Exegetical

Thanks for the responses. I've experimented a bit with this. Library Search Results in IOS & Mac Versions: shows my edited book titles Using Passage Guide in Mac Version: shows my edited book titles Using Passage Guide in IOS: shows Logos default book titles The book cover icon that is available in the library search results helps me fairly distinguish

I currently own WBC in Logos. With the MM sale, I have the opportunity to pick up newer versions of the following 6 volumes for $60: Psalms 1-50, Isaiah (2 volumes), 2 Corinthians, and Joshua (2 volumes). I will likely pass on this, but wanted to see if anyone has examined the differences and has an opinion.

I have picked up several of the higher rated volumes during the $20 sale and past years March Madness sales. Really looking foreword to getting a good discount that includes dynamic pricing.
-
This is a fantastic sale, especially for people that decided not to go for complete sets during March Madness. I wish there was an option to pick up some of the MacArthur NT commentaries on discount though.

Just curious how many are purely computer based in your Bible study and note taking vs how many use paper Bibles as part of their study routine. If you use a paper Bible, how do you incorporate that with your Logos resources in practice. Do you take notes in Logos, an other electronic format (I.e. Word or OneNote), a notebook, or a paper Bible? I like

Add me to the list of others in the same boat as you. I have the old Bible Study base package and have added a few commentary sets like WBC, Baker NT, NIV Application, and EBC. I almost pulled the trigger on NICOT/NICNT during the Christmas sale, but decided against it. I did pick up a few top rated volumes at a good discount during the March Madness

I experienced this issue about 3 weeks ago running Yosemite on my MBP. I had to reinstall Logos and everything was ok. Today is the first day I've tried to start Logos since updating to El Capitan and I again have the problem. Has a root cause been identified? It wasn't too big of a deal reinstalling Logos, but having to do it twice in the span of one

From a layperson's perspective, if I had to choose between the WBC and NIVAC (I have both), I would choose the NIVAC. The strengths of the NIVAC are that it is easier to read and digest, and as the name implies, it helps bring out applications from the text. As someone that doesn't have any original language training, the WBC can bog me down at times
