  • Re: Cheapest way to get a reverse interlinear?

Thanks Dave. What if the user doesn't own Logos 4? Or any version of Logos yet? The cross-grade wouldn't work then right? So to get reverse interlinears, he would have to buy a package?

  • Cheapest way to get a reverse interlinear?

I asked this question directly through email and on twitter, but have yet to get a response. So I thought I would ask here. What's the cheapest way to get a reverse interlinear with Logos 5? If someone downloads the free platform and then purchases the ESV or NASB will it come with the reverse interlinear (I am asking this for a friend, I have Silver

Wonderful - thanks for the quick response! You can find a standard Khmer Unicode font here: https://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Content/Script:khmer That font has the latest Unicode specs for the Khmer language. Let me know if you need any more detail or testing. Blessings, Nathan

  • Bug: Logos 5 No Longer Displays Khmer Unicode Correctly

This is a regression. Logos 5 used to render Khmer Unicode correctly, but now it fails. I am not sure which version worked (because now I have the newest), but Logos Bible Software 5.2a SR-6 (5.2.1.0155) does not work anymore. I've attached a screenshot of Logos 5 and the incorrect rendering along with a screen shot of Microsoft Word with the text correctly

Here's an excel template I had from a while back - I didn't make it, I can't remember who did, but it should help make the work quicker. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1180151/Excel%20Template%20for%20Logos%205%20Bible.xlsx

And actually, I would update the post at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/34671.aspx but it's been locked. So I can't.

  • Re: Problem with Khmer

These issues have been resolved on PC - Khmer works almost perfectly in Logos 5 on PC. So now just Macs remain. Anyone have any ideas on this? How can we get Khmer working in Logos 5 for Mac? Blessings, Nathan

  • Re: Can't Search Khmer Language

In Logos 5 for Windows if you use any of the Google Khmer Fonts it should render correctly (you can find them under the Khmer language here: http://www.google.com/webfonts ) So far it works great and I haven't seen any problems. In Logos 5 for Mac there still are rendering problems though. Blessings, -nathan

Yup, that was it. I thought it had finished indexing, but it hadn't. I restarted and then indexing started again. Now it works. Thanks!

Perhaps it hasn't finished indexing on mine? Well, at least it should work, that's great! Thanks for checking for me.

  • Can't Search Khmer Language

I just upgraded to Logos 5 because it is compatible with the Khmer language (Logos 4 was not). But while I can create personal books with Khmer, I cannot search them for Khmer words. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? I've attached a sample Khmer .docx for us as a personal Bible for testing. Thanks, Nathan 4130.Khmer Bible Test.docx

  • Can Someone Test Khmer in Logos 5 for me?

I am a missionary to Cambodia and Logos 4 does not support the Khmer language. I was wondering if someone could do a test in Logos 5 in Windows and let me know if Khmer is now supported? Just make a new note and try and paste the following text: កាលដើមដំបូងឡើយ ព្រះបានបង្កើតផ្ទៃមេឃ និងផែនដី។ And then take a screen-shot so I can see if it worked

Thanks! This is good news. All I want is speed/performance, not too much into new resources unless I choose them myself and buy them. Hopefully L5 is faster and smoother than L4.

  • Add English Gloss to Original Language Morph Search Results?

I am working on creating a "reader's" lexicon for a few books of the Bible in the Khmer language - we've done a few books manually, but then someone suggested we use a program to do the bulk of the work. After seeing this post: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/27606/221201.aspx#221201 I tried the morph search for Greek or Hebrew @B OR @C OR @D OR

Hmm, maybe they fixed that bug (or Khmer Unicode is weird) - because I can change the font to a Khmer Unicode font as demonstrated below: First Khmer Unicode Font: http://www.actioncambodia.org/logos-khmer.jpg Second Khmer Unicode Font: http://www.actioncambodia.org/khmer-font-logo.jpg The way the font is looking is how programs that cannot take Khmer

  • Re: Unable to Use Khmer Unicode in Personal Book

Thanks Mark and Tonya, As far as the font issue - I agree that a font would most likely need to be embedded - but currently Logos is unable to correctly display any Khmer Unicode font (I tried them all, about 50 fonts) by changing the default Logos font in preferences). So I think it is both/and - a font needs to be embedded, as well as adding Khmer
