  • Re: New Mobile Survey -- BlackBerry and Android users, speak out!

I use a Blackberry, but I DON'T want a Logos App for the Blackberry. Please don't waste your time and money. The screen is way too small for reading. I just want to be able to have my entire library on my iPod touch/iPad. NO internet required! We NEED some kind of portable reader for our Logos based resources. My desktop/laptop is great for study and

  • Re: Thru the bible?

I bought the same package. It was a fantastic deal. Logos sells McGee's commentary set for 175, while this LifeWorks package is available for under 60 (and it has more than just his commentaries!) I installed it while I still was using 3.0. When I upgraded to 4, everything went smoothly. I can't see any reason why it is not showing up for you. Have

  • Re: Question about CD-Rom resource

Thanks for everyone's replies. I just thought of something, I can't try it yet because I don't have the disc. I don't have Logos 1 for the Mac but I do have Logos 4 still installed on my old laptop (windows), that I no longer use. Could I just load the resource onto that computer? Wouldn't that at least unlock this resource for me and the next time

  • Question about CD-Rom resource

When I first bought Logos I was using a Windows machine. Well, now I've switched to a Mac and I'm unsure of a few things. I was about to but the Tyndale OT/NT commentary set on CD-Rom. It's the same one that Logos sells http://www.logos.com/products/details/5310 but from another company, so DLing is out of the question. My question: Will the CD-Rom

  • Re: It's My Anniversary & Logos is giving stuff away for FREE...!!

Something tells me that I'll never own ICC either, that would be nice. However, for a set that expensive I'd rather own the NICOT/NICNT.

  • Re: Pleasant Surprises in My Library

Type "fsd" into your command box. This is called the Facilitate Serendipitous Discovery command. It opens up a random resource to a random location. I've found great gems doing this. Sure sometimes it opens up an ancient text or lexicon, but sometimes you strike gold.

  • Re: A17 - Not Responding while closing guide

I was able to actually close both guides and open a new layout. Took probably 12 tries total. I can see how your recommendation would have worked though. I'll file that in the back of my brain for an emergency. Thanks.

  • Re: ESV & Logos

Okay, so I looked at your list and thought...what would be my 123. I enjoy so many of the current English versions that I do a lot of jumping around, but I do find that I pick some more than others. 1. For church service - NIV, second choice HCSB 2. For Deep Bible Study - NASB, second choice ESV 3. For Devotional reading - NLT 4. For Apocrypha reading

  • A17 - Not Responding while closing guide

2313.Archive.zip Now, I have no idea what is going on. I'm completely unable to use L4 as of the moment. I open L4 and it signs me in. Then it brings me back to the last layout I had. This was just a PG and an EG attempting to load information on Matt. 1:18-25. Now, this takes forever. In fact, the EG never seems to finish all the way. Anyway, this

  • Shortcuts/Filters/Commands ???

I was looking through Morris Proctors website and noticed they have some very nice cards with ALL the functional keyboard shortcuts, library filters, commands for the command box, search fields, etc. This needs to be common knowledge. In fact, I'm sure plenty of people know all these. I only know a few and they help me out a ton. However, I would like

  • Re: Please make available books with cheaper Price

Logos is not a ministry. It is a business. They have rent, utilities, payroll, etc. They need to make money. You make it sound like they are making TOO much money. Logos and Exxon are worlds apart. You're concerned about price, but to be honest Logos is pretty cheap overall. I have spent a fraction of the retail price for all the books I own. I added

  • Re: Learn to Use Biblical Greek and Hebrew with Logos Bible Software

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was hoping to hear. It would be nice to view the videos inside of L4 but that truly doesn't matter. I want to start learning! I haven't taken original language classes and I know I'm missing a lot of good stuff in L4 by usually skipping out on the many exegetical resources. I tend to flip to one of my many critical

Yeah, no kidding. I've been very interested in this product too. There isn't much information floating around about it. It's hard for me to sit around and wait especially since I put down for it in pre-pub on day one. Does anyone know what stage of production is it on?

This was good news for me today. I can see myself in the not-so-distant future buying an iPad. However, one of the big reasons would be to run L4. SO........... To all the good people down at Logos...if your reading this...PLEASE update and improve the Logos iPhone app (or create a separate one) for use on the iPad and allow us to download our entire

  • Re: Roman Catholic Resources - Help

Have you read "Reasoning from the Scriptures with Catholics" by Ron Rhodes? He lists some of the major doctrines of the Roman Church, explains why (and what scriptures they use for defense) they believe in these doctrines, and then explains what Scripture really says within correct context.

This is fantastic news. I had read some information on the Logos site and had thought this was the case. I just want to double check on this one point however. So...Logos knows what resources I already own and those resources will be downloaded without me having to dig out the original discs? (This includes resources like WBC, right?) The program will

  • I own a PC but want to buy an iMac. Can I transfer over L4?

I currently own a PC and wish to buy an Apple iMac in the near future. I recently upgraded to Logos Silver 4 plus I have bought several resources like WBC, MacArthur's LifeWorks, etc. Will I be able to transfer ALL these resources over to my new iMac? I do not wish to have to re-buy my resources or software, I don't have the money for that. If yes,
