  • Re: Printing out of Logos for Mac

I am looking forward to being able to print. For NT Greek I want to cut and paste so I can create a grammatical flow, but what I loved in Logos 3 PC was printing BHS and ESV in parallel versions on the same page, working with the text and then bring this to the pulpit. This saved time, gave me neat clear fonts and layout. I can't wait for Logos 4 Mac

  • Re: Unavailable Resource

Thanks for working on this. I actually have all 4 of those resources available in my system, though the NA27gbs.logos4 is in German. Maybe the "unavailable resource" is not a NA product, but when I mouse over the "unavailable resource" link, it shows Matt 1.1-9 in NA26. Is the NA27gbs what came with the SESB package? Thanks. Ross

  • Re: Multiple crashes

Yesterday and today, I've had a much higher rate of multi-minute beach-ball freezes in Logos4 Mac and one full crash where it automatically sent data to Apple. I haven't been doing anything too special: lexical searches and opening multiple lexicon. Attached are my logs. MBP i5, 4gm ram, 500 gb hd. 0550.Archive.zip

  • Re: Biblical Greek Illustrated By Examples (Zerwick) - Why not available separately?

I completely agree. I purchased Grammatical Analysis but Biblical Greek, Illustrated by Examples is too expensive in its set.

  • Re: Home Page Fonts

Yes, please allow for greater font adjustibility, especially on the larger end for me. I just switched from W7 to Mac. On Logos4 for windows I could make the fonts larger than in Logos4 Mac. I am using a MBP 17" with the high res screen bc it was the only way to get the anti-glare screen. Please provide even larger options for both Default Text Size

  • Re: Home Page Fonts

P.S. I don't really care that much about the Home Screen fonts (right now); what's really important is the greater size on actual books (NA27, Bagd, ESV, etc.).

  • Consistency on CNTL - G

The CNTL-G keyboard shortcut to get to the passage address is great, especially that it automatically highlights so that typing replace. How about making that global? 1. With the library lookup (icon between the Home and Search icons), so that CNTL - G automatically highlights anything that is in the library lookup to easily find resources. 2. With

  • When will L4M have Parallel Versions (in columns without comparison)

I am not sure I am remembering the exact title of the feature in L3, but one the biggest features I am missing from L3 is having the same text displayed in different versions in columns, without any comparison, e.g. Neh 1 in ESV, BHS (or ESV, BHS, LXX) in parallel columns. I found this so helpful for OT sermons. Ross

  • Re: Print Export

I just tried an export of Neh 6.1-7.4 out of Text Comparison (ESV and BHS) to .rtf and when I open it in Pages or Open Office, verse 7.1 is missing. This is frustrating. Ross

  • Re: EEC - why I hesitate

Good discussion. However, I am disappointed that we users have had to ferret out all these issues and Logos has not been straightforward and upfront on the series' perspective. There has been plenty of time to be transparent and clear. When asking to prepay $700 (from my perspective a "hugh amount of money") I don't think such information and clarity

  • Re: EEC - why I hesitate

In fairness, WBC and Pillar don't speak about their perspective/hermeneutic in the simple paragraph summaries of the series either, but they also don't ask you to buy the whole series at one time without the ability to interact completely with their product. When I bought WBC for Logos 14 years ago, it was an easy decision because I had already used

  • Re: Continuos Crashes When Working With Notes

I haven't had a crash on notes, but typing in notes is quite frustrating with multi-second lags from when typing appears. Is this just me or has this not been addressed yet? Thanks. Ross

  • Re: Logos 4.0b SR-4 (4.10.4.9457) - NIV2011???

I have to say that the Free NIV update issue has left a bad taste in mouth. I have the NIV84 because it came with the Logos package I purchased in about 1995. I've purchase books and updated over the years but since I now have L4 Original Languages, and NIV84 was not part of that, I didn't get the free NIV11. I've purchased NIV, I just haven't purchase

Thank you. I purchased UBS many years ago, along with other resources, so there is little value for me to upgrade to a higher base package. Ross

  • Re: Why is Logos 4 Mac so slow to respond?

I've also found 4.2a SR-2 to be a little slower than previous beta releases, and noticeably and bothersomely slow over all. Lots of "beach balls" in doing simple things; delays that are long enough and often enough to make me think, "What's going on? Why doesn't this work more seemlessly?" • How to Find all Hebrew words in LN semantic domain

Louw and Nida lists Greek words by Semantic Domain. Swanson Hebrew Dictionary references those domains. How can I get all the Hebrew words within a certain domain, e.g. LN 5.1-5.22? Thanks. Ross

Kevin and Mark, Thank you! Great. BTW is there a master list of the tags in every resource? I didn't realize that AFAT tagged Semantic Domain. What else am I missing? Thanks again. Ross

  • Re: Why is creating a Note so incredibly slow?

Notes are slow but also when I create a Note, it does not take me to the new note, rather I have to scroll and search to find the location of the new Note in the Note page. This never happened on the PC version. Frustrating.

Thanks for the replies. Really? I'll have to send you my logs too since I nearly always get 1-3 second delays in typing notes.

  • Right click menu should include "create a new note"

I find myself often wanting to create a new note entry (in a new note file) as I am reading. Particularly, this is for a new subject that I have do not already have a note file for. Given that this is a natural part of reading (which Logos is why Logos exists), the procedure is quite cumbersome. I highlight what I want for the note, but then I have
