When I do a greek word search on "all open bibles" and have Logos lxx (logoslxx.logos4) and Septuaginta (lxx.lbxlss) and OT in Greek Swete (otgrkswetetxt.logos4) all open, I only get a search hit on Septuaginta. Do I need to do something to have the other two considered "bibles" when they are open? Ross

hanks for the reply. But do you see the problem? If I hide it, then I won't get any LXX hits (with na27gbs). I am doing these "all open bibles" searches from the NA27GBS. This is the nt text I use almost exclusively. I notice now that when I do the same "all open bibles" search with LOGOSNA27, I get hits on all three.

Thank you for the work around. But I have to agree that it is quite disappointing that Logos has not work this out.

Thank you for the reply. I was missing the search syntax. Thanks. So when I look at the web page for dataset-literary type, I find this description: We’ve identified biblical genres, down to the smallest unit of text Our team of experts has painstakingly cataloged the genre of every verse in the Bible. A given passage of Scripture may include numerous

One more thought: The above search on "prayer" in Literary Typing yield 174 results but that is counting verses. Those 174 represent only 14 pericopes (or sections perhaps extending beyond a pericope). 8 in OT and 7 in NT. Could this data possibly trend toward a conclusion that the tool could use some redesign or the marketing of the tool needs more

Hello. Could we get a timeline on when this will be corrected? It is still a problem in 6.1b3. This was a problem at one point in L4 or L5 but you fixed it. If you fixed it once, I'd hope you could fix it again quickly (although perhaps the approach and code has changed significantly, requiring more time). Still from a user's perspective it is a significant

Great. Thanks. Appreciate it. Just for your examination, I ran across a particularly odd example this morning. The number "110" is missing from the Papyrus, but look what happened with the Aleph and the "(0281)." They were shifted in sequence and the leading "(" in "(0281)" seems to be transposed to a ")". Perhaps a little more complicated problem than

Great. Thanks. Just for information: the same underlying error shows up in 2Tim 4.6 with spendomai. This is in: LOGOSNA27.logos4 Ross

Follow up question. For something like Calvin's Institutes, there are a plethora of versions (different translators, dates, etc.). Would we have to own the "right" one to get it to work in the Systematic Theologies section or the Theology Guide? I currently have been using (with lots of my notes): LLS:42.110.15 2013-07-22T16:45:43Z CICR.logos4 If I

I picked up Vos Biblical Theology, since it was on sale, but I am confused about how references are showing in the TGP (or any Biblical Theologies section), above. Why does the TGP (left side of picture) only show two entries in Vos BT for Gen 32, but if you click "Search Biblical Theology: Old and New Testaments" link, then 5 results in 4 articles

It is occurring with all resources. The Bible Reference shows guides, but not the search options. Although maybe a have a particular problem, corruption?, because the Root menu (on the right click) is showing nothing. Should I delete and redownload the application? If so, shat all do I need to delete?

I did a Bible Word Study on kara (Called) in Gen 13.4. (Sorry for the bad transliteration.) All good; I scroll down to Clause Participants section of the Word Study and click on "With Agent" and then "Abraham". Great. I get a helpful list of passages. But at the bottom of the passage, there is a line that says "Clause Search on Kara, Abraham" See picture

Thank you for following this up. Thank you very much for the help. Ross

Thanks. Yes, I did miss the dual parsing options. So, "error" is the wrong word; how about "unhelpful." If Morph Chart is only going to show one option and not indicate the possibility of others, it is at least a little unhelpful when it picks the parsing of the 2 options that no major English translation uses. (The Indicative parsing is possible but

Jai, Hi. Unrelated question: how do you like running Logos 7 on your Surfacebook (I assume is not Surfacebook 2)? I'm considering getting one but how Logos runs on it is a key factor. Ross Durham durhamrh@gmail.com

Can we get Christian's Reasonable Service on the list for incorporation into the Systematic Theologies tool. à Brakel, Wilhelmus. The Christian’s Reasonable Service and 2 . Vol. 1. Morgan, PA: Soli Deo Gloria Publications, 1993. abr.lbxlls

Here are some pictures demonstrating the changes: I have L6 6.14 SR-4 on a different partition but I checked and it has the same issue as L7 has. But here is a picture of a physical print out that I did sometime earlier in February from L6 (I don't know which version exactly): But now in L7, here is the same Text Compare: and close up 1. What the first

This makes no difference in the Print/Export result for me in L7 on OS X. It seems like it Should help, but the reality is that the output is identical.
