  • Re: Latest update and E-Ink E-Readers

Matt, I've had my eyes on that device. Of the reviews, the most common complaint has to do with poor screen resolution. I like to shrink the font down pretty small. How well does it work?

  • Re: E-ink device for Logos App Android

In my case to prepare to swap sdcards I restored to factory settings first. It was like starting all over, but root access remained, and my physical button swaps remained. When it restored it was running Polski, and I had to go by memory to change the language back to English. After the restore, the SDcard was empty. That's when I started installing

  • Re: E-ink device for Logos App Android

So, after swapping, external and internal SD, and with about 5GB of Logos Bible resources and 8GB total on my class10 SDCard I have to wait 15 minutes for the SDCard to become available.

  • BUG: NIV 1984 broken

I'm using the Windows 8 primarily for the NIV 84. I downloaded that resource so that it's available offline. Just yesterday their was an update and since downloading it the app crashes (closes leaving me at the start screen) whenever I navigate by entering a reference. Navigating by advancing a page at a time works, but going by reference doesn't. I

  • Re: Beta (Build 47) "crash"

FIX?!! Out of desperation I've tried a number of things to get the newer versions of Bible and Vyrso to work on my Sony E-reader PRS-T1. The Problem: menu fails to work after successive attempts, and always renders reading view. See previous posts in this thread. The Solution? Make a multi-fingered gesture in the menu portion of the screen. I use two

  • Clause search inc LN range

Does the clause search in L5 support a range of Louw-Nida numbers? For example I don't have success searching for 27.34-27.47 using this syntax "person:Jesus verb-ln:27D". But this certainly works: "person:Jesus verb-ln:27.41" Any hints?

  • Re: Clause Search's Lexham Greek-English resource missing

RESOLVED! A reboot, followed by a harddrive scan (which found corrupted files on my system) didn't quite fix it. But I called Tech Support (<2 minutes - GREAT SERVICE!) and they told me to use the "update resources" command in the Logos 5 command bar. (i had tried "scan c:\...", and "update now", "rebuild index" but that didn't do anything) L5 found

p.s. I've restarted L5 a number of times... I've looked in the resources folder and found a 15MB file like this: DB:CLAUSES-LGNTISBL

  • Clause Search's Lexham Greek-English resource missing

I'm trying out the new clause search (just got L5 gold today - downloaded and indexed already) which works super with the OT because I have the Lexham Hebrew Bible. But surprisingly I have no NT resource. (The only thing in the drop down search menu is that LHB - nothing else). I'm looking for anything that says Lexham Greek-English Interlinear New

  • bible-44.apk

I'm looking to download the latest working version of the logos app for android 2.1. I'm pulling my hair out because it used to be simple to get: I'd open my browser to that webpage link (not google play) and it would know that i'm running 2.1 and it would show me the option for that one besides 2.2+. (it always used to) Is the website malfunctioning

How did you get 1.1.4 to work? Did it just work for you or did you have to do a couple different things?

  • Re: Beta (Build 47) "crash"

Gary, can you confirm that it a new version (2.x) of the Bible app works for you? For me, I have trouble using the menu, after this sequence. Read a book. Change a setting, read a book, go to library. Immediately the menu stops working for me and only sends me back to reading mode. It only takes a minute for you to check that, and if you can confirm

  • Re: Beta (Build 47) "crash"

It's been a few months, so it's not fresh anymore. I assume you are talking about rooting the e-reader. I remember it took me a bit to get where my e-reader is now. To be clear, I can only get Logos 1.13 working (Logos build 43). Even though the Sony e-reader comes with Android 2.2.1 it does not run the newer version of the app. (everything defaults

I have the same problem with 1.1.4 on my Nook Simple Touch, so I uninstalled that one and went back to 1.1.3. A few days ago I uploaded 1.1.3 on this forum so that others could download it. Here it is again: is called Logos-43.apk and you can find it at this address for a few days, just try avoid the ads. http://www.sendspace.com/file/50x71s

Just from experience... The Logos app 1.1.3 is the last version that worked for me on Android 2.1 (I'm using a rooted Nook Simple Touch).
